Did he use just screws or nails? Or did he use glue? Did he seal it with resin/silicon/ any other thing?

Your going to need more than 1 Yellowtop to run 2.2kw I suggest putting a XS D3400 under the hood, should be able to get one for around the same price as the Yt. -
Well I'm ordering a D3400 tomorrow, and wondering if I NEED to order anything else for it. It will be replacing my stock battery, which is completely burnt out. I really can't afford to get anything extra besides the battery lol, and need it ASAP, so if something would be useful, but not needed, that would be great for now. Thanks

My dealer has pictures and trophies from various shows, I'm sure one or two have been in LA. Going to talk to him about it and try to find out, will message you if any come up So does anyone know if there are any in LA?

Goodluck! If it makes you feel any better I'm going to attempt glassing for my first time really soon, and have no confidence whatsoever lol. That's why I'm going to do exactly what I told you to do
-
If your not confident in your abilities, but want to try out glassing, I would suggest running to the local junkyard and look for some door panels for your vehicle, that way you can mess with them and if they work, use them, and if not, oh well you'll still have your stock panels...

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I was wondering if there were any competitions in Louisiana. I've never been to one and would love to start checking them out.
-
Yes, it would be better than the XX. Also, I have o idea, but I know that you do not need 2gauge wiring for 1000w. You will be fine with 4gauge, which it does accept. I would recommend KnuKonceptz4gauge amp installation kit. The total for everything should be just under $300, which you said is your budget.

Those all sound like fun options
-
I'd go with a RF Prime R1000.1D Linkage 1000w at 2ohm, and I'm sure it's better quality than the Hifonics.

Frisbee!

I'm sure you won't be disappointed man, good luck with the build! It may take some time, but once you get everything built, hooked up and playing, you'll get to see it all pay off. That's why I love car audio so much, you can enjoy the product of your hard work, and say "Damn, I did this!" Prolly the same thing with having a kid, I ain't got one so idk lmao

Sell Lv5 18, get Lv5 15.

You didn't even mention your problem, aside from RF UK not having good customer service. Steve has no control over them, and there is nothing any of us can do to change their cs... Are you asking what you should do next? Hell, I say you do 10 IA Warden 21"s on a Nuclear Reactor in the trunk of a Prius...

Ported gets way louder, though you lose some sound quality, but not much.

By looking at the fuse size, Probably puts out under 100rms to each channel.

Reminds me of something a friend of mine said recently. You can't be a big dog on a little dog's salary.
