yay!!! I got the alternator in today... was seriously expecting it maybe Tuesday or Wednesday but it is here!!!

Out of curiosity, who makes that "mega crimper"???

I have the harbor freight crimp tool and use it for 0ga terminals... Trick to it is to use the 0 die on top and any other die size on bottom, but turned over, not inside the mount and squeeze it nicely... Then release... Use the 0 die on top with 0 on bottom and squeeze until you can hear wire pressing tightly... I've done this many times with no issues, only time a terminal almost came off is when my sister ran over the wire in her car... I almost always go a step further and then use 2-4 die at the very end of the terminal where it meets the wire jacket and squeeze it until it is almost flat, this way it doesn't allow pull on the wire inside the terminal... Hope that helps... I did all my 0ga wire in my Camry like so and have had no issues...

Matt agrees. We have compared your pictures to a 2.4l unit here in the shop and can confirm the application. Thank you for the confirmation... Will you guys be processing a UPS label for me to slap on the box?

ran into a few complications in case anyone has read this at all... Took it to the mechanic to install and he stated it could not be mounted as in it might have needed a bracket.. I tried to eyeball the alternator from MechMan on top of my engine but it looked fine so I need to go deeper... I have already contacted Matt @ MechMan... Let's see how this goes...

MechMan, is amazing... I've been in contact with them for almost a year now(insane)... I have been looking into an alternator for a long time and didn't have the money, when I did I ordered a DC Power but then got into some money issues and they refunded my money which was an amazing thing... Because of this I was able to read more about the other companies, Singer and MechMan... I felt most comfortable with them and then they became a vendor here which made everything much sweeter... So, I was given the okay by my current lady and she also might have funded this item as well... So on the way to my house is a 270a alternator, courtesy of MechMan.!!!!
