The young kids were cool about it, they didn't think that their music was that loud at night. Here in Cali, no loud shitz between 10 pm - 7 am or else you will get a ticket for the noise. The police will not give you but one warning if someone calls more than once. When I do visit my parents house during the day, I make sure to listen too how loud the music is playing. Haven't had any issues with them since I knocked on their door and spoke to the guys. I guess they didn't like my bald clean cut look with the evil eye stare! Do you mean radar detectors instead of radar scanners? Anyways, I have used 4 different radar detectors over the years and I have to say the Valentine One is the cream of the crop! I have been saved on 4 trips already, haven't received any speeding tickets since I had starting using the Valentine One. I don't think mobile police scanners will help you from getting a speeding ticket. Remember you can not stop POP radar/laser but you can get a heads up before its too late!

Ever notice when your are listening to a police scanner, you can hear the information about traffic stops. You get the DOB, current address and driver license information! Since these apps are streaming, there is a slight delay. So you are not really getting real time data. Most of these apps buffer too much data anyways to be used for unlawful purposes!

Haven't had cable now for 4 years, saved me about $139 a month. I get all my stuff over HDTV OTA signals which I get about 10 local channels and about 20 stations from Mexico. I do everything via mobile and streaming. If I want to watch something, I'll get it off youtube or T-Mobile TV streaming. I don't even watch tv everyday, I get in about 4 hours a week. Cable is a waste, too much crap to watch and so little time too. With my HDMI out on my phone, I watch all the shows I want that are all ready downloaded to my phone. My own personal DVR without the extra costs.

My G2X plays 2 hours with Netflixs, plus I can just do HDMI to any LCD and watch it on a bigger screen. You can also use Root and watch your Netflixs movies.

Are you serious? It blows the wii out of the water. You can even mod it to use the Kinect with your pc or notebook. The last time I played with my wii was last year! The Kinect is great with games, video chatting, and you can use it for other uses like virtual reality!
