the BRZ1700 calls for a 160 amp fuse. your running 2 ohm, so honestly you could throw a 150 ANL on it and call it a day. and like C fizzy said, get the 1/0 if your going to be doing any upgrading. and for now your really fine with the 4 gauge. BRZ1700.1 only accepts 2 gauge anyways

6 cu is fine, just make sure you have the proper port area 13-15 sq in per foot

can you grab a friends phone and see if we cant isolate the issue? if you have an iphone4 or iphone4s or IOS 5, on the pioneer website they say that there is some issues with ios5 and some of the features of the HU you have.

are you using the bluetooth for audio streaming? or calling?

wired something up wrong in my opinion. go back and recheck every piece of wire you dropped in your ride. people make mistakes and shit happens.

sweet, thats pretty much all i care about besides the steering wheel controls, but there is a work around for that. and for $109 bucks.. at first i was like, man get what you pay for.. but it looks and sounds like a decent single din unit.

hows the EQ and stuff on it? as far as customizing the sub settings and can you select playlists through the HU instead of the ipod?

alright, HU it is then. to avoid this turning into a VS thread, is there someone i could message about a single din? my reasoning for single din is that i never liked double din or a touch screen really.. while im driving i rather have a knob to twirl than a series of menus to navigate.

well i have worked out the figures, and it looks like i have $150 to spend on car audio. i already have 2 skar 12"s in a box with a BRZ1200 wired 1 ohm with 4 gauge wire. what i dont have is.. H/O Alt Upgraded Batt Sound Deadener 1/0 Head Unit i wont be buying anything for a front stage just yet, so no tweeters, mids, etc. there are minimal rattles at max volume (and by minimal i mean they dont bother me) EDIT: i realize some of the stuff i posted is out of the price range, but i will save up to get them. My first choice was 20 sq ft of alpha damp by Second Skin, but what do you guys think?

yeah i figured there was people pushing more than 1k per sub. and didnt kevin have the prototype 4500.1D on i assume his skars?

if you know what your doing that 1500 for 2 subs is a joke. theres people running 2k+ to the skars (1k per sub). go read around in the skar audio section and see what im talkin about.
