    Are you saying 4 1200d's total or 1 per coil? Check out the 3500d the new ones are rated at 4300 watts at 1ohm.(that is if u meant 4 1200s)

    That should be fine since you will never really see 1200 watts from that amp.

    Any 3000 watt amp. You don't have strong enough electrical to back it up.(Alternator, batteries,etc.)

    Just get 2 ssd 15s and be done with it. Its pointless to get 2 higher power subs when your not willing to properly upgrade your electical. IT TAKES POWER TO MAKE POWER!!! When that voltage is dipping into the 10s or 11s, on top of impedance rise that amp wont put out anywhere near 3000 watts. Also, two ssd 15s on 1500-2000watts will be way louder than your current setup IMHO.

    Alot of vehicles have fusable links, same idea as a fuse. I cant understand why people would say not to fuse it, a fuse only costs a couple of dollars and can prevent a big problem down the road.

    I just got one last night. Its not one with a motorized face but is from that time period. cda-9807 got it for free from my in laws. I also have a cda-9827, definatly one of my favorite head units

    Unless its going to be a really long time till you can afford the DCs just wait. The money you spend on temporary subs could go towards the ones you really want. BTW I have that same headunit laying around really love that thing. A company called PAC makes a harness to use a usb with through the Ai-net
