    The company I work for puts these on all the work trucks and they handle snow and rough terrain with ease. But they still maintain a quiet ride.

    Ummmm I've owned a 2.2 S-10 for 10 years now since it was new and it gets more than 20 mpg. I don't see how you can say it won't get great gas mileage unless you've actually driven one on a daily basis.

    Your 9512 would laugh at that amp. I have a 3515e that was on an AQ2200d at .5 ohm and it took it fine.

    I think I'll just stick with my original choice of Kenwood, sound quality was actually my biggest concern with JVC. I think after using an Eclipse for so long I'd be pretty disappointed

    I have looked at the Pioneers also but the whole noise issue from the RCA's is something I don't want to take a chance on, especially after I saw the ghetto way that Pioneer recommends to fix it.

    they say 2 volt pre out but its really around 1 - 1.5 i had a jvc before. i upgraded to a bran new 4 volt kenwood. made a night and day difference. Yeah actually the new Kenwood Excelon for $179 was my first choice. Heard mixed reviews on it but most were good. So the sound quality on the Kenwood was that much better than the JVC?

    I'm in the market for a new head unit with a budget of around $200. The 2 main things I want it to have are a USB for playing and charging my Ipod and at least 4 volt outputs. I've heard a lot of good things about JVC and they really seem to give you some nice features for the price(especially 3 5volt outputs). Anyone have any experience with them and opinions? Not really interested in Pioneer because of all the noise issues they have and Alpine only puts the 4 volt outputs on the more expensive models.

    Around here in Maryland that house would easily sell for over $500,000. People have to realize that typically the areas that have houses like this for less money also have less opportunity for high paying jobs. Of course someone who lives in a small town where the biggest thing going is the Super Walmart would think it's expensive, but if you live in an area that has alot of good paying jobs it seems normal to pay that much.
