everytime my sub hits ( 9515 DD) its not clean,well from inside of the car its sounds nice, but when you open the trunk it sounds like its trying to punch itself out. my Lpf is at 25 and high pass is around 70, gain 3/4 , bass boost off. i'm running on an AQ 2200, so it shouldn't be overpowering so i am just confused Why is it doing this? i really don't want to wreck the woofer any info would be appreciate. THANK YOU!

if the shop owner set your gains and blew ur BTL id be pissed! Go buy him a DD-1 and tell him to learn how to set gains lol

My brother in law owns a oil change/mechanic shop, and i talked him into doing some car audio stuff . He agrees and likes the idea, and wanted me to contact dealers and see if we could become a local dealer also. It wouldn't be a large shop for now, but it's a start, we would have a separate bay for installing, etc. Do i need any certifications , or anything to become a dealer? I am leaning more towards DC Audio, since their is a Digital Design dealer a town 45 minutes away from me, and i have looked into DC Audio and like their product, and sort of want to get some level 5's for myself. Is their anyone on the fourmn that deals with DC Audio, and could talk to me about it? Any information on becoming a dealer would be appreciated. Thank you.

isnt it an entire different motor structure and stuff? its not like a drop in re cone. im pretty sure its an entire different sub so you would need the entire new motor and soft parts. ya i wasnt sure, the guy at the DD shop said something about chaning the coil n cone n stuff, so i was wondering if it was possible to just make a 9515 DDZ out of the 9515

i think it does have a neo motor, well if its not possible to make the 9515 into a DDZ , how much of a difference wil it make changing the soft parts?

i have a 9515 DD, and was wondering on an opinion of if you would swap out the parts of the 9515 DD and make it into a 9515 DDZ, would it be worth it? i have heard 4 15" DDZ's at 1/3 power and i couldnt look straight.. my eyes jiggled of to the sides. And i have no idea on the prices for the parts would be, so if you could give me an estimate of how much it would cost to get just 1 15" DDZ running it would be much appreciated.. i heard the coils are like 600 alone

i need a new box can start the build any day now, just need specs i screwed up on my last box and had the port wrong, so its choking so if anyone could design me a box that all the specs are right o_O i would be happy thank you the max measurmets, or measurments i have right now are 30" deep 30 " wide, and 16" tall , im running a 9515 DD on an AQ 2200 id like it for more so a daily driver, since i don't live anywhere near competitions, but i like the bass a little on the louder side im running it around 14v with the XS D3400 so its closely running around 2500 watts rms, i havn't clamped it yet , so im not shure on the specific rms im running, i like unique box designs, so maybe a rounded port, where it curves out.. thats cool ive had people like ray and mario tell me to tune more so around 35-36 Hz so i'll take their word for it

i really need a new vehicle, Ive searched Craigslist and car soup and a couple other sites, I'm looking for a Tahoe or a Yukon , i only have 2000 to spend atm. Does anyone know any good sites to find some good cars at for not too much? i just want to try and find a better deal than one I'm thinking about getting on Craigslist. I live in south Dakota, 10 minutes away from Minnesota, so any south Dakota / Minnesota mained sites would work. thanks
