Hey guys, just picked up this little gem on sunday, figured i'd show you what i have done so far. plans are: Front stage: 92dB efficient (+/-2dB) mid/bass 4" in dash with 80-100hz FS. tweet mounted in dash. mid mounted in door panel. (but forget effiency if the drivers dont have a decent response curve) Rear stage: To be determined Sub stage: 2 12"s - 1 15" - 2 15"s all dependin on budget. 4th order bandpass with at least 40hz f3 before it gets put in the vehicle. 2k or 3.5k. all crescendo of course. (you should see the metal on the car, if you knock on it, it already sounds dampened, germany doesnt mess around. hand built cars FTW! Electrical: factory alt for head unit and factory systems, high output CS130 or 2 regular old 120 amp CS130s. going with them for replacability, can get one at any junkyard for $50. atleast 300ah reserve capacity in battery bank in trunk. planning on doing a 1.2" drop in the font, doing the shocks and struts with something decent (monotubes or something) and letting the system drop the rear end. anything else is TBD. for deadener i might go with audio technics if i cant get a job, and can only pay for this by doing odd jobs. im getting tired of local businesses never getting back to me, even mcdonalds wont hire me, FML lol. enough chatting, i know what you want. Im getting back into using my router, and lowes knows fuck all about router bits, i have a craftsman router with a jasperjig if you're curious, do i need upspiral or downspiral bits, and i move counterclockwise with the router, right? its been a while since i've done it, my grandfather is a BEAST with a jigsaw so i havent had a need to use it for a while, but i need to make rings for glassing a customers truck, and i want them as acurate as could be. Picture is massive, sorry, the hazing you see on the right side of the lens is about how the whole light actually looks, the other light is complete hazing, the wetsanding made it worse lol, i'll try clear and some mothers wax tommorow. pics of the results then. if it still looks like shit i'll be smoking them, and leaving the reverse light clear. the reason the suburban is so dirty is because i'll be painting it this summer so i dont really care how it looks, my c1500 ext cab and this ck1500 will be farm and garden gloss black >.> dont hate.

IIRC you'd still have to do a type of finish buff/polish after the wetsand/clear. Yeah, you'd have to protect the clear of course. Thats where a protectant wax comes into play. lol Pics of before and afters? Or just afters? i'll go take some right quick.

Mhm, extremely smooth, i guess i'll try adding a few coats of clear and wetsanding that. And i dont need a kit, i have boxes of the pads you use for wetsanding with a drill, the velcro came off of my 2k grit pad today tho, lol, and i only had one. i'll pick one up tommorow at orileys, since i know that method works like a madman, i just had the sandpaper around so i figured i'd try it.

So, heres the deal, i took off one of my grandfather old hazy tailights, and decided to try wetsanding. i started out with 400grit, moved up to 600, then 1000, 1500, and finally 2000, i feel as tho i did a thorough job, yet they're still as hazy as ever, but the weird thing is when the water is sprayed on them, they look fantastic, the plastic looks new, but when dry, as hazy as ever. i hit it with plastix wax, and that didnt help. Anything i should know, or any tips you guys might have? anything is appreciated.

pull off the motor, put it on an 18" frame, and order a recone for a 18". i recomend sending it to fereverbumpin or someone of that nature and having them rebasket and recone it tho.

not for these subs. i could have gone up another ft^3 if i had he had the room. the songs he had, didnt really have too good of lows. I hooked up my nano via 3.5mm jack and it sounded about 5dB louder in the 30-35 range. the amp is voltage matched and is crossed at 50hz. i just turned the HU up to the point of almost clipping. subs are only at half xmax too x.x

1 Crunch 1400.2 bridged at 3 ohms, crappy electrical, 3 Hifonics HFi 12"s, 7.9ft^[email protected]. Will try to get a better video with a decent camera and a decent song tommorow. Not bad for $200 worth of equipment Edit: i dont have the slightest as to why the box and seat look dirty as s*** in the vid, must me the gamma filter.

there really isnt a point in buying stetsom if you like lows at all, if you're putting it in a daily driver then i suggest the new crescendo 5k coming out soon, if you need that much power. before i get called out, the frequency responce of most stetsom amps is 30-22,000hz, and the boards the crescendos will be using play down to 3hz

just wait for the new line of Crescendo amps to come out. they're the same as Sundown amps and 1/3 the price. imagine getting a sundown 3500 for $550

Currently the only car audio in my house is the sub in my room. 07 kicker comp 8" in a constant mouth tline at 40hz.

just dont get the 3G one unless you want google tracking you and recoreding your long. and lat. every 30 mins. : )

the best player IMHO is whiteboy7thst, hes a beast all day every day, when he isnt rage quitting lol 500 round wins 2500 round losses xD hes a straight beast tho, and hes a really nice guy. classic whiteboy he had the most kills in a flawless game for like 8 months on MW2 i believe, something like 150/0, hes an absolute beast when he preforms.
