It doesn't matter if you use the dd1, if you play the wrong type of music you can still be clipping I have a dd-1 and use it and recommend it to my friends or anybody I can After your done setting your gains you still have to keep an eye on your system this is were the ear comes in if your within your setting and you can hear/see distortion/bottoming out back it off a lil bit Dd-1 and some common sense=FTW

If I did my math correct I paid about .18 cents per watt for my dc 3.5k

ThisI like these kinds of earbuds for their bass response but they fall out of my ear too easily. A compromise needs to be made My favorite ear buds are the apple ones that come with the ipod touch or any ipod nowadays. They never fall out. I can't stand the gummy/this type, you have to pretty much jam them in your ears. the apple ones just lay in your ear and don't fall out. I like the iPods buds too Sound wise they sound good not the best but good enough for when I workout

My friend bought a batch of fake beats from 2 different people/companies he also has a real pair 1 was better then the beats Another was not as good as the beats So I guess the only way to find out is to buy these and find out how they sound I would bye a pair but I don't like this type of earbud
