Pretty much best way to go is get rid of the original bass line and make you're own, you can just change the pitch of the lower frequencies but it sounds like ass IMO lol.....to get rid of the bass all you do is run a high pass filter from about 120Hz or whatever you want and set the db cutoff to like 48 or whatever the highest is then add tones

with practice im sure it will work.....ive only done 2 songs chopped and screwed and at some points they dont sound right at other points its really good....but i use audacity and i'm getting there so it just takes time, its more or less just copy, delete, paste....have a listen to what ive done so far to get an idea of what it sounds like just remember these are my first attempts haha C-Murder - Ya'll Heard Of Me Ying Yang Twins - Whistle While You Twurk CHOPPED & SCREWED (kinda) IMO just try some songs and see how you do
