Even hearing this car in person, I can honestly tell you it will damn near make you mad how damn loud it is. Mad in a good way though. This thing is so freakin beast mode it's truly nuts. I heard it in Panama City at Spring Fling a couple months ago and I kept turning around repeatedly thinking the 18's would eventually appear or something......NOPE!! Just 4 damn 12's. LMAO!! BHE is definitely on another level. Great job guys. Absolutely loud as hell and looks freakin awesome!

Cool, thanks man. I have definitely been looking at irpirates build. Is it safe to assume that pointing the ports at the front wall is a hard and fast rule for 6th order designs?

Excellent. Irpirate's build log is the one that got me looking around at 6th order stuff. Not to be a smartass, but I would really hope that 12 15's could easily spank 2 15's. If it didn't, that would probably put it on the podium for "Epic Fail Of The Year" award. LOLOL!!

Ok...even though he's not exactly well liked, I would still like to know if there was a build log. It's pretty hard to argue about the fact that the jeep was loud as hell, I just wanted to get some of the particulars about the enclosure. If the 15's are in ported chambers, I could not see the ports when they panned around with the camera. Where would the ports be for chambers the 15's were in??

I just got finished looking at your build pics over on the gmfullsize.com forums. Great work indeed. I just can't believe this thing is doing numbers without being completely overbuilt like most SPL machines. Most folks kill trees like crazy by using 2 x 4's. You simply doubled or tripled the MDF. WOW!

What forum, chances are pretty good that I am a member of whatever forum your build log is on? I would really like to take a good look at how this was accomplished.

Is there a build log on this vehicle? I would love to see some detailed pics and some tech info on the enclosure. An absolutely incredible number for only 4 15's and 2 3500 watt amps!! WAY TO GO!

Yes, this would be to remove protection from iTunes songs. My buddy was going to burn an audio CD, but we did not want to have to go through that trouble if it was not necessary. So after he made a burn CD with iTunes, the protection would be gone?? It would not carry over the protection when the file is burned??

DRM is Digital Rights Management. Basically DRM is what enables file protection on audio and video files. I know there has got to be some freeware out there that will get rid of this crap.

There has to be some interest in this particular subject matter.

Does anyone have recommendations for what kind of DRM Removal freeware I could use? There are a ton of selections out there, but I would like to find one that does not mess up the music really bad and is easy to use.

This is pretty much all anyone wants to hear. Pics are nice, but the summary above and the recommendations you have made are indeed very nice. I and everyone else appreciate the fact that you took the time to explain this setup. By comparison, you are running a really meager amount of equipment as opposed to some of the other famous bassracers. You have built a very inspiring truck and it was certainly not my intention to criticize. I just want to learn more about this stuff and what it takes to really be loud. Termpro used to be a place you could go to for good info. Now all you get is someone stating the most vague comment in the world like "someone is getting louder" with a bunch of smiley faces after the statement and it takes 2-4 pages of B.S. posts for them to say what woofers they are running and another 4-5 pages on amps. You can forget pics over there. PeteS and Assman seem to be the only ones that take lots of pics to post over on termpro when they build something. The others are like watching a game of just the tip and that's all that ever happens. No payoff at all.

Kudos to the A-Team on the score, but why are questions about the box being ignored? Another cloak and dagger termpro build strikes again. We would all love to know more about this beast. I hope my post does not come across the wrong way, but being cloak and dagger about a build is what drove people away in the first place. Here are some questions: 1) Looks like stetsom amps are being used, but which ones and how many? 2) Is the enclosure a 4th order or 6th order BP? 3) What kind of volumes on the back side of the subs are you running? This may be more applicable to 4th order enclosures. Again, we all just want to understand what makes this beast really tick.

I am new to my intellicharger as well. I would like to know what settings you should use for regular lead acid batteries? Flooded/Maintenance Free, amperage setting?

Fair enough. I built something fairly useful in Excel. Got tired of pen, paper, erasors, and napkins. LOL!! Props to you for the old school madness. Whatever works eh?? When you use BBP6, how much stock do you take in what it is telling you about how the enclosure should/will perform? I've never been a fan of any program that seeks to predict output abilities. You're probably relying more on what it tells you with regards to standing waves and what not right??

What program did you use to "plot" the alignment? I am definitely going to give this a shot, but I can honestly tell you that I do not know how to model the front chamber. I know how to do the rear chamber, but the front chamber is purely guessing and its literally going to be built big enough so I can drill the speakers in place since that is my top concern next to the box itself. Thanks man. So what you are saying is that you simply set out to design 2 ported boxes and it simply turned out like a 6th order? Did you think about what would happen in that front chamber at all or were you primarily concerned with the ported box alignment? I may try my hand, but I just don't want it to sound like total poo if I screw up on the front chamber. I am ordering a form finder today sir . Thanks for the tips.

Greetings Steve, I have a couple of questions regarding the enclosure design for chicken's caddy. First of all, fantastic work. Before I get to my questions, I would like everyone to know that I went through nearly 40 pages of the thread looking for this info, but I either overlooked it or did not see it. Hopefully the flaming is not near as bad over here as at ca.com. Secondly, is that particular design a bandpass? It looks like a 6th order design. I usually build your very typical sealed and ported enclosures for folks, however a gentleman is wanting me to do a build in his Avalanche that is not going to lend itself to anything resembling simple. The only thing I can really come up with in my mind is a design that looks exactly what you did in chicken's truck (on a much smaller scale of course). 2 questions, the chamber behind the subs is tuned low right? If the design is indeed a bandpass, then what kind of tuning, volume, and port area is the front chamber? I really want to understand the methods to madness on bandpass designs, but they seem to be quite confusing. Brandon P.S. Where did you get the form finder piece for doing curves when you built the wall? Does it simply hold it's shape when you press it into the contours?
