  1. im going up to canada as part of my graduation present from my parents to go bear huntin.. my dads already been twice and killed one each year.. shot em both at less than 10yards... im worried i may shit myself with one that close but well see lol
  2. your box is too big man.. not enough port..im coming up with 4.3 cubes net tuned to 29 htz with 10.96 sqaure inches of port per cube edit: post up a screenshot of what youre getting in torres might be putting something in wrong making it come out screwy..cause thats what im using
  3. x2 i played with torres and im coming up with closer to 4.5 cubes net rather than 3.6.. so back to da drawing brother..
  4. checked with another member to make sure my eyes were screwing with me..but that box looks way bigger than what youre thinking..post up dimensions?
  5. i got it for ya...doesnt look like unloading should be an issue..
  6. post a pic of your box? almost sounds like ur subs arent loading properly..those subs shouldnt be bottoming out on that power even at 1.8 cubes per woofer. at least i wouldnt think so
  7. thats worse than dangling a steak in front of a homeless person and saying "just so you know this tastes good"
  8. can you change my name to pa-pa-platypus please n thank you kind sir
  9. the gains not a volume knob just so ya know...and theres really no need for the whole free airing a sub before you play it..put it in the box play a good clean signal to it and bang away
  10. hes not asking if he should brake it in..hes asking HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO BRAKE IN...and thats gonna depend on how much you play them honestly OP.. usually bout 6-8 good hours of playtime they start to loosen up a bit..depending on power
  11. this is prolly gonna start a shit storm..but before it does...ill give my honest opinion...theyre a good sub and ive never had a problem with them holding up.. and quite a few people run them u just didnt look very hard lol... only down fall of them is their stiff ass suspension requires they be put into a larger enclosure than normal.. this same suspension also allows them to be tuned higher and still go low so its a bit of a catch 22.. but theyre good subs and great CS behind them
  12. it was a damn joke dude lol no need to get all bent out of shape..

  16. i would do 2 8's like sierra suggested or 1 10'...maybe 2 10's if you can fit em but it doesnt take alotta cone area to get decently loud in a single cab
  17. i would do 2 8's like sierra suggested or 1 10'...maybe 2 10's if you can fit em but it doesnt take alotta cone area to get decently loud in a single cab

  21. aeroports are your friend in a regular cab set up.. think of them as a viable option... have the port loading on the passenger said against the wall.. ive had good success with that setup
  22. i honestly never got around to trying it..ended up going with a regular slot port instead
