Yep the back is all rounded and sanded. The front is not so much. There is also a brace in the middle of the port. heres an old pic.

I noticed last week when I first got my wall playing that I had some annoying port noise on the lows. The port is a middle port 4.5" wide 24" tall and 17.5" deep. 2 Fi BTL 15's tuned to 33hz. I'm not sure how to fix this or reduce the noise. Where the baffle meets the port there is a slight lip in spots I need to make it all smooth but I cant figure out how to shave the baffle flush with the port opening without damaging the port walls?

Yeah, I ended up getting a 20 pack of American eagle "Spline" nuts with the special socket for them. Had to drive 1 hour to get them. 60 dollars!!! wtf... o well I got them now. and have 4 more than i need. The way i see it. if i can break my studs with an 18 inch tire iron with only my arms then I might as well replace them all at once to save me any hassle in the future. Thanks for the reply. Just wondering my options for increased weight in the trunk.. I havea 2006 pontiac pursuit and with a wall. 2 15" btls and an extra batt, the rear end is about 2-3 inches lower than normal. I just put new shocks in the rear as the old one were shot. helped a small bit maybe 1/2 inch or so but i got about 160-200 pounds more batts going in there and wasnt sure if there was a way to ruduce sagging. (without airbags) Thanks

Well, I was starting to install some new rear shocks in my 06 pursuit (cobalt) and ended up snapping 5 out of my 8 wheel studs... . Anyhow, im getting all new ones today and was not sure how to replace them. Can't figure out how to get the old ones out as my car has rear drum brakes.. Cant just hit them with hammer as i dont have access to the back of the studs. Anyone know how to remove the drum brake cover so I can get these damn things out? Thanks

I got a different alarm installed in mine and they actually had to run 2 relays and a data interface bypass module. because of the factory security system with the computer. Costed a bit more to get put in.

Well. I need 2 of something, So im looking $600-$800 each. i cant afford the $1300 each amps. I got 2 BTL 15's dual 2 ohm in a ported wall to 33hz and all i know is the hifinics 2100's arent giving out nearly enough CLEAN power so thats why I am here, I will be selling the 2100's soon hopefully and get 5-600 bucks. I need more batts as it is so I dont want to chocke my electrical with 7000 watts.

Im not trying to start a VS thread Just wanted your input on this Crescendo 3000 watt amp. i was looking for 2 2500-3000 watt amps to power 2 Fi btls. I like the Sundown but its a bit out of my price range for 2 of them. Right now I have 2 hifonics 2100 watt amps and the btls are barely moving. I personally used PL400 for my boxes and its very strong, same with pl premium. Wood glue Pros: Dries fast, Very strong if used correctly, no strong smell, easy to spread cleans up easier. Cons: Messy, drips alot, Can be more expensive and some are temperature sensitive. PL Adheisives Pros: Very strong, affordable, easy to use (caulking gun), Don't have to spread it. Cons: Very strong Smell that can linger indoors. Very hard to get off of clothes and other things. Takes 24-48 hours to cure.

That will be my project tomorrow. @ HunterJohnson Hmmmm..... lol yeah but no 1/0 just the factory wire. Maybe I will put one run to the stock batt and one to the kinetic instead of 2 on the kinetic. Damn car is hard enough to get 2 1/0 runs let alone any more

Yeah, the car always ran a little high but it goes down to 14.9-15.3 usually and a bit lower than that when the subs are playing.

No just one 270 HO alt charging both. But the factory batt is factory with no 1/0 wire. All the 1/0 is on my kinetic 1400. So kinetic is charging seperate from the factory batt. Also, my amps are drawing from the kinetic, not the factory lol

I just finished installing my new system today. In a 2006 pontiac pursuit G5. 2 Hifonics BRZ2100.1D's 1 Kinetic HC 1400 270 Amp ohio generator Alt. All Knu 1/0 Kolossus (2 Runs) 2 Btl N2 15's Ported Wall I finished hooking everything up and got the system running. After bumping for a few seconds, I got an error on my Dash that said "CHECK CHRGING SYSTEM". I didnt crank it up for very long at all when It said this. After messing with it some more tuning my amps, I got the same error come up followed by "BATTERY SAVER ON" message. I don't know what this means. I think another Batt is needed. All my grounds are good, checked with DMM. and my resting voltage at idle is 15.44 on my kinetic and 11.2 on my factory batt. The 2 runs of 1/0 are both on the Kinetic also with 2 1/0 grounds. The factory ac delco is seperate by itself with factory Power and ground. Before this system I had one 2100 and 2 15 type r's and never had this issue and the Kinetic and the factory batt were in paralell. I seperated them for this build so my kinetic wouldnt leech off of my factory. I'm waiting on a volt meter to get here so I have to be careful. It also seems like my steering is a bit stiffer. Any help would be great. Thanks.
