  1. Why is the fuse on top of aluminum with copper underneath? Just curious
  2. Scanned from some magazine I just got... Scanned up close on bottom of post
  3. The 4th pic is anl fuses.. not battery terminals. Overkill... Thats for sure.
  4. Now thats some really nice shit!!!! They look like memphis to me. They probably dont make them anymore tho. Also looks like that guy custom made some of that. Whoever he is.... got props from me.
  5. Smart..... I dont think there is a microprocessor in there. LOL. A diode can only be so smart.
  6. I personally cant wait til this whole..."Man... My voltage is 15.4! Its awesome!" craze is overwith. Hopefully soon. I mean come on... seriously.... Just because it gets a little cold outside and your voltage goes up a few tenths and you start having problems dont you think thats a little much......
  7. Thats too high. Everytime I make a post of comment about voltage in the 15's I get in a pissing match.
  8. We use the WalMart lawnmower batteries in systems a lot here when the customer has enough alternator power to run everything pretty much by itself. I always like to have atleast one battery in the back reguardless of how much amplifier power you have. They actually work great for us. Dont need reserve.. Just some quick low amperage power for just a few milliseconds here and there. Probably not a popular answer but a good one nonetheless.
  9. I dont know how many times we have been thru this..... I offered to give you DOUBLE your money back on your alt... All you had to do is send it back to us and I would issue you a check. Its not that difficult. It seems like your trying to make this more difficult than necessary. If you want to discuss anything else you know what our email address is. [email protected]
  10. Sorry guys... I already sold to some guy in Singapore. Thanks for looking. Dom
  11. I completely agree. I was mad when Bob decided to not go with that company anymore. The only thing I didnt like about those amps where them blowing up as soon as you past 18 volts. Other than that they were the best amp he ever had.... IMO. I still have 2 or 3 of them laying around.. It was extremely hard to give the 36 of them I had back to bob when I was done competing with the.
  12. 99.9% of the time it doesnt matter... When I had 36 American Bass VFL150.1's in my Cadillac I blew a couple up. (The gold amps) I was scratching my head and finally figure the problem out... That particular amp will NOT handle any voltage over 17.or so.. When I had my charger on and it went over 18 volts i popped some amps. I charged the batts up to 20.8 all nite long with the amps off and had absolutely no problems. It only happened when the amps were on and the voltage was higher than the mid 17's. I had 16 volt batteries by the way. But in your case.... your charging 12 volt batteries so there is little if no worry about the amps.
  13. That battery is small but I dont see that causing your problem. I would check voltage at the alt, batt, and amp and compare them all under the same load. That will get you started. Iraggi
  14. If you want a second quote ill see what I can do. Maybe I can cut you a deal on an alt and battery.
  15. I dont care about old plates that go for alot of money. I just want to cover a wall in my shop with SMD members plates. Im not trying to make some money off them. Ill take a 1949 plate for my Mercury. I can run a 49 plate on my 49 Mercury if I can find one. They are around $100 for a really good one.
  16. Ill take it. Im looking for any plate. New or old, doesnt matter. PM me your address and Ill send a UPS label. Or throw in an envelop and put in the mailbox.
