rearview mirrors are a waste anyways..i cant even remember the last car i had that had a rearview.. if u got any kind of real system..always remove the mirror..take 20seconds to release that clip and itll save ur glass

my buddy has a dc 1.2k on a single psi 12 in his jetta.. hes doing like 143s in the mid 30hz range,,, i was very impressed by the quality of the dc amps just didnt see any1 with a 1.2k so i figured id throw it out there

i ran PAP recones for a few months and the guy who owns the subs still puts them thru a 1hr workout daily..and they have never faild.. maybe ppl were having issues.. bc they are overpowering them or MAYBE it was a crap install.. im NOT knocking daves work..i got 2 psi subs sittin in my closet lol.. just waiting for the right intsall to use them

i cannot see where pap softparts are any different than the other companies.. i LOVE psi recones..dave has hookd me up many times.. i personally hate all dc audio subs..they sound sooo hollow..spl sounding... scott at fi has been my dude for a few yrs also.. I.M.O if you want to get pink dustcaps spiders etc go psi.. if not..well id for sure use pap over dc

last year i ran 2 12" re se motors with PAP recones.. the recones were rated for 1200 rms each..i ran them on a sundown 3000d for 5 months without any issues at all.. the person i sold them to still runs them daily..but only on a rockford 1500

i would get a crescendo 2k.. as for alternators..i personally run a dbelectrical alt for alomost 3yrs now without any issue..my buddy got a 250 amp alt for his blazer for 250 bux.. and deka or shuiriken for batteries... they r just about the cheapest and reliable

12 gauge will work just fine for you... 10 gauge would be better tho// no need in trying to fit 8 gauge when u gotta trim 1/2 of it off anyways!!

when i was 18 i had a 4 door dodge neon..i had a solo x 18 in place of the back seat..i had sub AND port facing forward and it hammerd.. then did another design with port firing upward..that worked VERY well also 1 solo x 18 and 2 boss 3000ds lol..my system forever ago

i would go with a slightly larger battery in the back..JUST to be safe..can never have too much battery supply.. ring terminals..zip ties.. u should be set to go also what mids n highs r u going to use??

if ur planning on trying BOTH 15s in the trunk...i would for sure try to seal them off and fire forward into the cabin.. i personally think a single 15 would be sufficient,, be easier to feed also with the stock alt n such

i run 2 rockford hx2 10s (i believe that the model i got them forever ago..beefy 3" coil motor).. and 3 cubes net in a slot port box tuned to 28hz with 14" of port per cubic foot..powered by a t10001bd.. BIG 3 upgrade and a single xs3400 in back and im golden for a work car..

sound deaden the trunk very well and do 2.75 to 3 cubes at mid 30s for a single sa 15.. use 13inches of port per cube or MORE (i run 14 to 15" per) sub up port back to drivers side.. i have the same workcar

that SMD will take 5k rms allllll day long if clean power... power acoustik boss and all them are NOT going to come anywhere near rated power.. IF ur actually going to get a smd..dont waste money on a amp that will die anyways bc they r that cheap.. also why make a thread if u already know what ur going to buy n such?/
