    I loved 3 because it was the first fps I've ever gotten into and the first time I played on xbox live. But that's about as far as my love for halo goes. I'm ready for the new Elder Scrolls

    Make a mount for the mirror and glue on, then make it to where you can slide the mirror in and out of the mount. My truck has one like this and if it falls, I can just slide it back on.

    I'll check into the birch prices around here. I didn't see any at lowes when I went a few days ago though. My friends dad owns a contracting company so I might be able to get a deal though.

    Ohh, that's simple. I wonder if I just double baffle and use a lot of all thread, that my box will be strong enough to where I don't need to double up each side. Not gonna be having more than 3000w on the box for atleast another 4-5 months, so it should be enough, even with the massive subs.

    Thanks Ricky, looks good man yeah, we'll probably end up using all thread, if I can figure out how to use it might just use a bunch of 1 1/2" dowel rods though.

    If you want the box to come out with a really smooth, good looking paint job, you can resin the outside and apply a little bodyfiller, then sand to perfection and paint.

    dual 4 ohm and they will be wired in parallel down to 1 ohm. Oh and is a 1600 watt hifonics brutus amp to much. I've never ran any RF subs, so I don't know the actual abuse these things can take. If you know what you are doing, I'm sure you can get by with 1600 to the pair. Make your box smaller than normal since your overpowering them by so much. Just remember, if you smell something burning, or your subs getting hot hot, turn the gain down a little.

    Maybe put ring terminals on the ends, and put a bolt straight through your box with the amps leads going on one side and the positive or negative run on the other.

    A good choice would be an aq 1200. Great amp, will put out the power you need, and they don't cost an arm and a leg. Forgot to ask, what is your voice coil configuration?

    Looks good. Try 7.5 for the port, and tell me what it changes tuning and such to. I would like a little more port, if possible. But looks good still. And yep, I don't wants to bend though :'( lol

    Ohhh okay. I'm going to say you can run about 1500 to the pair if you know what you are doing and don't clip em. Music is dynamic so you wont always be seeing the full 1500.

    Yeah, I noticed Derrick had the port height and max height of the enclosure the same, don't think he accounted for the 1.5 taken from the wood. My damn iPod won't let me see the design figures :'( care to post so I can see what we gonna be building?

    You'd be able to get better results if you give the subs the proper space. More cone area doesn't matter if your box isn't big enough for the subs needs.
