  1. Happy Birthday to Azagtoth502 & Bassrace
  2. Did you get a standard model or SRT because those things are nice. I did a blue one a while back with 2 12" Kicker CVR's on a Kicker DX1000 it was pretty loud considering the customer cheaped out on the box and I was forced to use a sealed box but it's a hatchback so they get loud easy. I would change the mids/highs because we lost them when the bass hit. Customer was happy so I left them alone.
  3. Yeah I failed to mention Premier Pro is a bish to learn. I like Vegas Pro and I always have issues with Movie Maker and the audio levels after the video is saved.
  4. Mac or PC? I use Adobe Premiere Pro on my PC and Final Cut Pro & iLife on my Mac.
  5. I would go with Hertz or Focal's.
  6. No the ones I have are the pt.2 I wanted to get those but at the price range I decided on the crescendo's the pt.2's get plenty loud really easy.
  7. Yeah you can match a mid range with a tweet as long as it sounds good and yeah the PPI tweets are not big at all or you can go with a soft dome tweet but you need to get one with some power thing about pa highs is it doesn't take much power to get em loud the crescendos have a big body but the PPI tweets are not space consuming at all
  8. Then I would get a tweeter that could cross at 4k I would get a super tweeter I am running PPI with my seleniums but will be getting crescendo super tweets soon
  9. For one look for a tweeter that can keep up with your mids and I would say one that will cross your mids and go up and handle high hertz without sounding like its getting its ass whooped. What's the frequency range of the daytons
  10. Good deal you got on a good amp I heard the MB Quarts are really good amps saved yourself about $30 bucks buying online. Good luck with the install and the12volt.com would be the place to go for your diagram.
  11. The point of the thread is to do away with external crossovers. I would wait on the Crescendo if you can't then run the Sundown 100.4
  12. Pictures of how you have it wire would be great and pics of how you have the amp tuned of and the box that you said is good. You're not really giving us any details to work on.
  13. Or you could do 2 dual 2 and get 2 ohms I have no experience with the bxi not sure how reliable it is I know its 1 ohm stable that's about it
  14. 2 dual 4 will bring you in at 1 ohm on the amp
  15. -2 tweets 6 6.5 or 5.5 mids AutoTek Comps $40 -3 10" subs - Powerbass 10's $120 -Amp - MB Quart Amp $160 -Headunit ( and install kit ) - Pioneer HU $70 -and Amp kit - Absolute Amp Kit for 2 Amps $40 -Mids/Highs Amp - 4 channel amp being sold by Nine8sst RF R300.4 $100 I went over about #30 including the 4ch amp. *Edit* If you go with that deck/speaker package and take off my deck and speakers that would bring him in at $505 with the 4ch amp
  16. I would go with the SA's or the VVX good subs in your price range.
  17. I agree with this. this is a $2 fix rather than a $30 fix Yeah this is true but I like the cool little gadgets like these. U know what they say! The price of cool ain't cheap man! And I actually have to agree with you on this burban I mean go big or go home. Nothing like the wow factor and since you already had the idea go with the module. I mean think about it like this What would Scooter do .
  18. Nice find think I need to invest in one my self would be cool to have one on my civic and on my Tahoe.
  19. How much is reasonably priced?
  20. The problem you run into there is the sensitivity of it. Anytime you go into anywhere too dim to detect it the lights will just come on and off. I would just wire a switch up to the LED's and cut them on manually or splice into your headlight wire and have it come on when the headlights are on (unless you ride around with your headlights on during the day. You could always take one of those home outlet timers and convert it and make your own custom set up.
  21. I use a 32gb iPad and I love it way more than the kindle and simply because I can do everything from the tablet with no need of having a PC. I record, write notes and validate arguments all from the iPad. Plus not having to carry around a book bag is always fun. Mine doesn't distract me don't really have games or anything mine is strictly for school and work. The features of a fully functioning tablet knocks the nook or kindle out the water.
  22. I don't have much experience with them but BFF Larry on here has one and I asked his advice because I am thinking about running them and he said it was solid current hungry but solid you need the electrical to run it. Fecupe did a 1500w challenge and gave a good review of the AP1500d. One of my installers has 2 30001d's in his Jimmy and they seem solid to me. He was actually the reason I gave AudioPipe any thought at all. You can also look at AQ I think a 2200 from them is like $430 and everyone here raves about Audioque and the quality of their amps but again I have never used one first hand and can only go off of what other users have done with them. *EDIT* I am waiting on a reply from moneybags for a quote on a few sound digital amps I really want to run if you haven't found anything by then I will let you know how much he quotes me for the amps. I am looking for a 2000w amp myself.
  23. The Clifford Matrix 50.7X is $220 and the Viper 5901 is $240. Same company same alarm both really good priced on Sonic Electronix.
  24. Best I can say at 2 ohms would have to be the AudioPipe AP 30001D, you can get it from eBay or VMInnovations for around $480 does 2000w @ 2 ohms if I am not mistaken.
