  1. the thing is that the fuse went while i was driving home one dy after work about ten minutes. im not disagreeing with anyone just trying to get a better knowledge of what really happened. I haven't touched the rca for a while that why.
  2. Hope it fixed finger crossed. Dont wanna jinx hum and noise gone. What I did was ground the rca to back of deck.
  3. Yeah haven't had time cause my 4 channel amp is under the sub box. Also I just got it out today and this sat I will meter all the wire for the amp.

  6. bumpp soo a loose ground could have cause it? why would the amp still work if only 1 fuse was still inserted an the other 2 was taken out?

  8. Mids? That will cause a fuse to blow on the amp?
  9. I'll try redo all the wires and sand the ground will it help?
  10. Will do anything else? Could the engine noise be caused from only 1 fuse? Also my speaker wires cross the power is it ok? Not touching maybe 3 in away
  11. Soo my dumbass took the 3rd fuse out. Pit it back in and started the truck. I had no fuse for 1 and 2.... what happened was sou ded line engine whine for 20 sec then the 3rd fuse blew.. I should have left it out? I'll try check my wiring today and the grounds... thanks I'll get new fuses too
  12. So today 2 of the 3 fuses blew on my sundown 100.4 sax amp. What could have caused it? Everything is set properly and only running a set of mid and high.. I have been running it for 6 yrs no problems
