My trucks also got a pcm mechman 270. I get it charges at a lower voltage like 13V right? But whats it mean realy? At 14+v it will charge my batterys faster right? But at 13 it will still charge just over more time? How much more anyone wana take the time to explain it to me plz. Im runing a dc.5k and.a hifonics 150w@4 ch for highs . For batterys I have a stock and a d3400 under the hood. And just got my 2 xp3000.

What about for new body gm alts with the pcm? Yes no maybe?

So if the xp3000 is only good for 3000 watts a d3100 is 2000 watts better? What d battery is equal to the xp3000?

I have a mechman 270a pcm alt and.since its not charging at the normal 14+volts whats it do at the 12.8-13 volts it normally charges at? Any ideas?

I have a mechman 270 and need to power a dc 5k. I have a d3400 and a stock up in front I was thinking 2 xp3000 in the back only issue is my alt is pcm will charge at 13volts max. Whats your thoughts on that. I think batterys first since the sales comin up then second alt? will I need it with my alt issues? You said some run som many batts because there alt cant keep up will adding an other xp3000 help me, so d3400 and stock up front and 3 xp3000 in back. Or just start to save for the second alt? Ps what you think is better 2 pcm alt together charging at 13vots. Or the pcm for the truck and a seprate alt for the sub setup?

Didnt think it was. I gave a stock battery in the hood and a d3400 under there also. And a mechman 270 but it has the pcm so charging is goin to be an issue. I want to power a 5k and a amp for mids. With the sale coming up how many 3000xps do I need? I was thinking of getting an other d3400 and have 2 under the hood but the 3000 xps at the sale price are about the same price but more power right? any help

How does the rating work? 1d3100 is good for 5k? And 1 xp3000 is good for 3000 watts? That simple?

Not trying to hijack but I got a question. I upgraded my 160oem alt with a mechman 270alt. I needed an alt with a pcm since my trucks newer. If I wanted to add an other alt do I need an other with a pcm? Im planning on running a dc5k at .5ohms with an amp or 2 for highs. Looking to replace door speakers( 4 speakers) then add an other set more in kick panels(6comps total=3sets). My truck has 2 battery trays under the hood. Have a xs power 3400 and looking to add an other. Would rather add an alt then look for a place stash more batterys? So 2 mechman 270amp alts and 2 xspower 3400 Vs 1mechman 270 alt and 2 xspower 3400 batterys underhood plus a battery more or 2 what to do?

Is the xl motor the same or bigger now? Dont know if I should go with the m2 or try and get a deal on the ones in the forsale section what about that stealth coil whats the difference

This the ultra flow streetwire, there ofc wire. It looks good to me about the same as stinger 0 gauge. I have boughten 4 7feet cuts from vminovations. Looks good to me what what do I know. But like miguels I looked into reviews before and before everyone liked it.
