turn them half way on the remote and set your gains with the dd-1. It says that on the dd-1 manual but i turn my knob 3/4 and set my gains.

to make it simple film yourself doing it you might be doing something wrong. If you are doing everything right than the DD-1 could be defective witch could be 99.99%

i turn the headunit to 39, turn it on the correct track, stick the red probe in the positive and clamp the other part on the amp ground wire, then play the track and it wont detect the hz, the signal light comes on tho, and then i turn the gain up and it will read distortion but the 40hz light never came on or 1hz when i did the full range amp You need to turn your crossover(HZ) all the way up.

Explain how you are setting the gains or how you are detecting distortion. Maybe you are doing something wrong.

Dont mix a stock battery and a good agm battery. You need to replace your stock battery first then buy your second battery. As for the wire just get the 0 gauge wire much easier. Wow i could get you a bose earphones for cheap like 30 bucks depends on my friend. He works at bose and he gets them for free(five fingers discount). Brand new. I got my for 20 because they were use but still good price.
