    i have a 20x25 that has an extension that makes it go to 20x36 and its done everything i have needed it to. it wont do full sheets, so i just have home depot or lowes cut it down to within 1" of what i need then trim from there

    You can buy the two rulers and make one, but i haven't ever seen a manufactured circle jig for a jigsaw

    A buddy of mine made one for his jigsaw out of two metal 12" rulers. Screws them down to the center on one end then screws the other ends into the base of his jigsaw from the bottom

    yes, its fine if you wire the sub to your amp at 1 ohm, it just wont put out the power it does at .5, but you wont be jeopardizing your equipment, its fine

    Thanks! and also, is the12volt.com a good website to calculate the port length? Cuz i've seem mixed results between a sloted port and sqaure port. :/ i prefer torres calculator, its free and more accurate. look for it under the subwoofer/enclosure section i think

    the first port wall should be 12" deep, then turn and your second piece should be 2.5", when measured down the center there will be 6" of length in the bend

    you stop at the width of the port, then measure down the middle. for instance, if your part was 6" wide, stop 6" from the rear wall and make your turn. subtract the width of your port from the overall length for your port wall. say it was 6 wide and you make one turn and needed it to be 30", you would have 24" of port wall. hope that make sense lol

    anyone have a basic outline on a good/cheap way to make a meca stand i can test on at home. does everyone basically just make a base with a 26" stand and velcro the termlab on?
