Staining, not painting

I'm building a little entertainment center for my room just to have a few speakers on it with a receiver, I was wondering how I could be able to stain it the color I want. I've read online for like 45 minutes on how people just did one coat and others did 12 coats sanding after each coat and etc. Etc. Any advice on how to do it, the steps, and what stain I should is greatly appreciated. If it matters I'm going for a black-ish semi gloss, thanks.

If you are under one of your parents it'll be a lot less. I have a gixxer 1000 and I am 19 and if I was on my own it'd be like 1500 every 6 months, but since I'm under my moms name it is only 300 every 6 months

Nah not dual inputs like something (terminal or something) that goes onto the wire so there's no stray wires when you put the wire into the amp

I have seen some people with power wire and ground wire that have a adaptor or terminal on it to put into the amp so there is no extra wires sticking out. I was wondering what they are called and where I can get them, thanks!!

I just want to start off with this is my second post on this forum. Some of you guys have really inspired me to do my best when it comes to car audio, so I thought to myself why not ask them about my life and maybe they can inspire me about that too. I have a project in one of my classes, a small 5 page paper, that I must write about what I want to major in. I have no idea what I want to do with my life other than joining the military after college. With that in mind I want something that I'd be able to do after the military. A little about myself: I am 19, I live in Florida, I am good at math, science and a decent writer. but also want something that's interesting which makes things more difficult lol. I don't need everyone to agree on what I should major in, just a few options that I can think over. If you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brandon

^you can wire them to 2 ohms as well. Series/parallel, I have a brz 2100.1D so about 1400 rms, suits my needs, just my 2 cents.
