  1. ^^^for the win. *Edit- Need to gain match with an scope or DMM
  2. Absolutely, I hope it works out. Keep us updated as to how it turns out.
  3. Apparently I read the first post wrong. I wouldn't have posted at all if I had read it correctly.
  4. No, I found out my head unit isnt that out of date it has 2 sets of 2v rca ouputs. Even though she is an older model that lil jvc gets the job done. But didn't you say that your 4 channel amp doesn't have low level inputs(RCA's)?
  5. Couldn't he run a line level converter from the RCA output on the deck to the HIGH level inputs on the 4 channel? can you hook them up that way?
  6. Run the RCA's from the HU to the class D amp. Those are low level inputs.
  7. I've got RF OFC in my truck and it's great wire
  8. I know someone said to stay away from a tuner, but here ya go. Copy and paste this link: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Performance-Parts/Flashpaq-Tuner-by-Superchips.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=33&t_pt=3169&t_pl=3716&t_pn=SCI3875&utm_source=Affiliate&utm_medium=CJ&utm_campaign=CJ_ProdCat
  9. You're gonna love those D4's on that amp. Will the place you bought them not just trade them out for the D4 coil version?
  10. I thought Heineken was from Holland... *Edit-I guess it's the Netherlands, just not sure exactly where. I thought it was Dutch.
  11. You're right, sorry I wasn't thinking of the D 1's.
  12. You can't run 2 D2 subs for a final load of 1 ohm. Only two D4 coil subs can be wired that way.
  13. ^^He thinks he found one on CL. What color is the interior? I know there has got to be a ton of old retired trucks that have the same dash near him.
  14. I didn't realize you had the cluster sorry. It's just weird where you have to put the HU in those things. And then a big hollow spot where the stock radio was.
  15. You might as well get the updated dash from the 94-98 while you're at it. And about my stolen truck, no worries, it's been years ago that it was stolen. I had the nice projector headlights and clear parking lamps and corners on it that would look nicevon that 91.
  16. Gonna have to find a salvage yard or some old boy that has an old farm truck he's put to rest. I guarantee there's a truck not too far from you rusted out with a dash waiting to be plucked.
  17. If I could find the guys that stole my truck, I could get my old dash out of that truck for you
  18. I like the straight up Amish dude in a lawnchair creepin on the two "girls"
  19. Don't open the rear end to save on gas. Get a tuner, like Superchips. they should offer a tuner with an 87 octane option. Any way to make the motor breathe better will gain HP plus fuel mileage. Headers would be next option
  20. I never looked them up? How much are they? I HAVE looked up the entire rolling assembly for a C6 corvette and they range from about 10K-20K depending on how many miles.
  21. Yup, looks like 59 to me. Only year they were like that i think.
  22. Right, the impala was the replacement for the 210 series yes? Like '60 had an impala Belair didnt they? I shall google....
  23. I wonder what it has for an actual frame to put all that C6 onto. If you've seen the bare C5 and C6 powertrains, there isnt actually a frame. It's just got the long torque tube(driveshaft). Lots of fabrication I bet bit it's pretty cool looking.
