okay guys.... i have an audiopipe 1500.d amp and the hole for the speaker wire screw somehow is stripped (the hole not the screw so a new screw wont matter i tried it already) so there are 4 holes + + - - the ones that are underlined gives me 1 ohm (3 + speaker wires, 3 - speaker wires going in each of the underlined ones) but the + (the one i need) is stripped.... can i use the othe positive one safely without blowing something up????

i kinda screwed the terminal on but it didnt go on... so it turned out twisted. but ill just start fresh. try it again

so i cant get my 1/0 wire to fit in the terminal... any tricks to this.. i get all this loose shit ... it just seems like its the wrong size.. but its what came with the kit any help? and also the wires dont seem to fit in the amp either.... any suggestions for that while we're at it. sorry im a noob.

inline fuse correct? still intact...still working... not blown.

1500 watts... but i doubt it was even close to that... i had the gain set to like 8 oclock (when the starting position is at 5) i still dont know why that shit caught fire... the inline fuse isnt blown... i checked that... its still intact... but after rewiring everything and putting in a different amp (just to tone it down a bit until i get the 4g wiring) the power light comes on at first .. then flickers alternately with the protection light. and i dunno why.

lol i used the inline fuse that came with the amp... again.. i would hope its the right size....

oh eight!!! wednesday was my last day ... sunday is graduation... its at the beautiful stambaugh auditorium in youngstown. ill be going to youngstown state university majoring in marketing with a minor in psychology ... im planning on just getting a new computer thats an all in one media center.. then just throw the rest in savings.

i believe so ... i think the amp just got too hot and in return the wires got hot.. and they were all touching so they melted

so i kinda disappeared for a bit (im sure no one really noticed/cared) becuase i had finals and shit and now im FINALLY DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL!! im happy. no more bullshit. or so i thought.... now today we went to graduation practice.. and everything is all good..boring shit blah blah... we're done i start to drive home.... i smell this scent... like something's burning.... then my shit turns off.. and im like shit... im in trouble .. did i blow my subs? then i thought no... they would still be bumpin a little... and then i thought i prob popped my amp.. damnit...so not really worried i drive home (it was less than 2 min til i would be home) i get home and i checked all my wires... resecured the wires and shit ... evrything is in place.. i checked tthe subs... they're cool.. then i turn my car back on to see if it would bump.. and i smell this burning shit again.... and im like damn what the fuck is burning? i open my trunk... lift up the carpet... and my wires are fucking melted together and a flame sparks up and catches my carpet on fire real quick and goes out... so here's the damage... nothing much... but im still pissed that i burned my shit... i guess thats what happens when you take shortcuts and use improper sized wiring... i was running 8g when they recommended 4g.... all you noobs out there DONT TAKE SHORTCUTS.. get the job done right.... and do it well...

ive noticed that my hearing is a lot more sensitive...not necessarily worse..... i watch tv at low volumes... and when im in other people's (non systemed) cars their music is too loud and when i tell them they just look at me and are like "youre kidding?" and just stupid shit like that... ive noticed its harder to hear when someone is talking to me from like 10 feet away... or at lunch when there is a ton of just chatter that hurts my ears sometimes..but for the most part id say its not much different...

you might want to look into the HTC TyTN II Kaiser (recently re-badged and offered stateside as the at&t Tilt) i dont know if you said which company you have now... i saw a bunch of different ones.. but thats an AT&T phone... i almost got that but i decided to go with the blackberry curve which i love.. i havent had any major problems with it...so maybe another one to consider (except its not touch screen)

you're right about that... the lights dim on my dads old pt cruiser whenever he turned the air conditioner on ha..(and he didnt have any aftermartket stuff in there either.... just the power package...)
