Is it a reason most people choose 15's over 18's besides the space issue?

Well, I would run 1 18' in my trunk if it was tall enough, but I can settle for 2 15's in my large trunk.

In that case yeah 2 15's would be the wiser choice. Over here in Italy they say 15's are better because something to due with the response time.

Now that's just silly, cone size doesn't affect response time at all.
