it says it on the website. It gives recommendations for full car, or just trunk, or doors. etc. I would check there.

change it to a square port and round the edges. done deal. it'll be shorter and less port noise.

Are you counting in the sections that i labeled A B and C? i forgot to fix it but those arent in the box. the 2 angled parts are where the subs are going everything infront of them isnt going to be in the box. Also i am debating on putting a divider down the middle of the port, in the 8in part of it. Inorder to keep the port at a 3.75in width all the way through. i just drew that line there to make a rectangle when i first started the drawing. lol... i may have done then math wrong but check me on that again. it was just bad on the drawing.... and its def not drawn to scale. ha exterior dimensions = 33.5(width) x 21.5(depth) x 15.5(height)

and here is the basic box design (top view) 3.25^3ft after displacement tuned to 34hz (good all around bass)

I got: 18ft 1/0 red/black 20ft 8gauge red/balck 40ft speaker wire 6m RCA/ 1m RCA 2 250A fuses and just becasue i see everyone doing this and its a good size comparison, this is 1/0 vs 8gauge. lol the batt again with terminal caps Everything together..... just in case u missed some of it. lol And thats all for now. im not expecting to do hairtricks after my next build but i'll def try. lol ill have 2 DC lvl 3 12s and about 1500rms between them.... we shall see

has somewhat to do with the car. If your car resonates well and hold that sound it then u have more air moving, but if not, if u dont have any deadener, or you just have a car that doesn't move the air very well then ( im sure someone could explain this better than me) ur not gonna be able to pull a hair trick.. unless u have ridiculous amounts of power... thats my 2 cents. Im kind of a n00b but thats what i've heard.

oh thats weird that they would put it on some and not on all. It seems like all should have one or none. that way they only need to make 1 kind of knob instead of 2. but thats just my thought...

i just watched the review for the 12K and he said they dont use clip lights on the bass gain knob because they want their amps to be set up with an O-scope and not tuned by ear where u might need a clip light. i think thats pretty cool. I was kinda mad about that but now i know why it makes sense and i like their reasoning.

Does the DC amp bass gain knob have a clip light on it? i feel like it should but i just watched on the DC audio youtube channel a review of the 1.2K and he didnt mention it? just wondering it would be a nice feature to have if it does. just sayin.

hey CJ i think i've talked to you before about this but im planning on gettin another 12" DC lvl 3 D2, and the DC 2.0K. kinda wanted to get a quote on both of them. Not ordering yet, maybe in a month or 2 but i kinda need a total i can save for. lol... just PM me when u get a chance. Thanks man.

Someone correct me if im wrong but you never know what your car is going to peak at. U can tune your box to a 34hz and then come to find out that your car peaks at like 46hz. just my 2 cents. Again someone correct me if im wrong.

ok cool. just making sure before i order a butt tone of wire that is gonna end up being too big for the amp. lol
