Run what you brung. Its not about being the best, its going out for the hobby itself. If you enjoy your system, compete. You learn a lot just by competing. Nobody will knock your system unless you're cocky about it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you get Ideas on how to make your existing setup louder, just by installing it differently. Good luck man.... Its all in fun.

3 Words..... Rear seat Delete Mustangs don't have ANY room in the rear, unless the new ones changed. You could do 2 15's, 6 cubes not have to worry about taking a ton of people in your car, complaining about being squished and you can still feel your music, like music is supposed to be felt. Haha.. Make a false floor for your amps in the trunk, so you still have a place to put all your stuff, or friends... Whichever has priority.... My $.02 Nice thing about a rear seat delete is you don't really have to ruin or cut anything... You may end up with a couple holes in the floor, as the box should be bolted down, but there's other ways to secure the box too. Rear seat delete is just a box and beauty panels. If you wanna pull it out, it will only take a couple hours, throw your rear seat in, throw a box with a ten or two in the trunk on top of the false floor and you still got a nice little setup. EDIT: Not talkin about a 'wall' .... If you design your setup to be able to fit out the door by taking a seat out, or both, versus destroying the box... Then it won't take long to reverse*

My New Ride
Blackedout replied to LT.Smoke's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Congrats man! Feels good to have that new car smell! I thought I wanted to do a sq system too.... But the factory bose was SQ, so now I got 2 15's in it... LOL... Give it a few months and you'll want to have that sound pressure :-D She definitely looks a lot different than she did when I got her off the lot with 25 miles too.. In the signature. -
Best believe I'm buying an energy drink if I ever see it on the shelf. Hahaha BEAST UP!!!

OMG, It did the trick! When its that hot, it doesn't take much for the alcohol to kick in. Even John was feelin kinda talkative Haha, he said, "I like you, and when BEAST UP gets big I'm sponsoring you! I'm not gonna forget you either! You better show up to the next show, faggot." LOL... He was Hammered. It was definitely a good time... Plus, I'm definitely feelin like I found a short cut home. I got home so quick.

LOW Blow... LOL. You shoulda used Hyundai! Cuz the way you make it sound, the Caddi is gonna out last the Honda, and we all know whats up there! No way a crunch is gonna outlast a RF amp. :-P If you're looking for a cheap, nice amp... You can get some pretty good power out of a Kenwood 8104, 400-500 watts of clean power at 2 ohms.... That is $109 on ebay, $70 used. Don't expect SPL, but the sound quality is nice for what it is. Not 1 ohm stable, so if your running 2 DVC 4 OHM subs, you can wire them each to 2 ohms, and run one off each channel. Or one 2OHM DVC sub wired to 2 ohms and bridged. What you're really looking for is 'CEA Compliant' if it says that, then it meets the output standard. If it says 800 watts CEA compliant, it's 800 watts. I'd definitely recommend saving and getting good equipment or buying good equipment that's used over buying cheap stuff. It will save you money in the long run. Buy once, buy right.

I'm not taking any sides, could care less if it happens really.... Its not for me though... Its for the lower class people who don't even have health insurance, or those that have lost their homes and everything they've ever worked in their lives because their medical bills put them so far in debt. We are the only industrialized country without single payer health care. It hasn't failed in Canada, or Europe, as well as a few other countries, so I'm not really sure why is it a joke. You realize that the government is corrupt.. Ever think that they led you to believe it would put us in more debt? Maybe step back for a minute and think about the health insurance companies that are one of the largest corporations in America, a corporation that can't fail... Similar to that of GM... and a few other huge car manufacturers. As well, a corporation that has huge influence$ on the government. If you're catchin my drift... Btw, the health care wouldn't be free... You would still pay for it through taxes I'm just sharing my $.02 ..... First time I've even brought up the topic on this forum. Could care less to hear any responses about what I have to say, unless its a proven fact that it won't work. If it is an informative essay, she can't fail you... As long as your content is from reputable sources and it is there. If its persuasive, bummer.... Take a chance instead of trying to do something straight forward. Most English teachers will recognize that you took that chance and give you some respect, verses a straight forward topic that every other student has done for the last 2-3 years.

Government run health care/ health insurance cons... Countries that have had success with government run health care... People that have lost everything due to the system we have now, and the fact that people aren't getting medical help because they don't have money. I'm sure you can think of more, but 1500 words is no biggie when it comes to talkin about government. Good luck

Blackedout replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Very nice! Can't wait to see some numbers. -
As always, lookin good.... This has probably been touched up on elsewhere, but I know you're eventually changin out the deck/screen in your dash for something newer and better, I'm wondering if you're also changin the mids/ highs.... Seems like this time around you just wanna add more power, test it out, see how much of a difference it makes, and then start changing the components, (subs, mids, highs, deck, box...or at least freshen up/ reupholster, etc) right? Just kinda wondering to what extent you're takin this 'rebuild' to.

Why not consider mounting the amps right under the rear deck? Suspended on a 1/2 mdf board covered in carpet, with a removable beaty cover. You won't even be able to see the amps the rear deck is easier to fasten to, and you trunk lid will stay up... Kind of like this... http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/i-c-e-elect...-rack-made.html
