Is your amp set to the HPF (High pass frequency) setting? If not, change it, that will probably help you quite a bit. On the deck, your bass level shouldn't be all the way up, and if the deck has a 'loudness' setting, turn that off. If all that is already set, 32-35 is too high, set the gain on your amps to match a volume level of below 32.

His Hoe is ~158 on bassrace. That probably 159-160+ burping. I'm almost positive the hoopty is bassracing 60s. He also tested it in the earlier stages of the build, it may have gotten louder now that he's done some more stuff.

Its a good amp for the price, but 8twelves didn't mention anything about the price. If you can honestly say that the brutus is better than a rockford or a sundown, I wouldn't agree at all. If price isn't the issue, why go with something of a lower quality? If a 2607 fries with 2 15'' L7s, you don't think it'll fry with 8 cvrs? A 2607 will push the subs, but the amp will be running at 100% to push 250 watts into a sub that can handle around 5-600. So dude can get an amp that may overpower his subs, he may have to turn the gains down a little, but his shit will be slappin and will have a lot more SQ because the amp isn't putting a distorted, dirty signal to his subs. On the other hand, he could throw 2 2608s in and it'll probably push his subs fine, but a RF 4000 will still put out more power and have more sound quality than a brutus...or 2 any day. 2000-2200 watts isn't enough to 'puch the hell out of them'...... ~250 watts per sub is nothing. Just cuz it says 2600 watts RMS doesn't mean thats what its really pushing. You can put that kind of load on a 'Hifonics' amp and see how long it lasts though. Chances are it'll get hot real quick. That line of amps isn't actually made by Hifonics, so you're not getting the quality of a true hifonics amp (Thor/ goliath/ XXV). Your getting the quality of a Maxxsonics/ Crunch amp. If you want a cheap solution, a crunch ground pounder amp puts out some power, but no where near the quality of say a sundown/ RF amp.

Turn the volume down.... Or get a mids and highs amp. An amp is going to give you the loudest, clearest sound from your speakers. Best investment you can make if you want clean sound.

Rockford 4000. 2 CVRS will take 1000+ watts daily. 2607 wont even be close...
