Piece by piece, paycheck by paycheck. Building your dream system is a process and the thing you don't want to do is settle for less than quality product because you will only want to replace it later. Save that extra bit for the next week's paycheck and get that better set of components. That's how you got to to it.

slightly better on gas than the 5.3 v8 i have now. and the fact that i'm getting it for $4k and only 100k miles on it, I should be alright I'm a big guy and I NEEEEEEEED a full sized truck to fit my big ass in. A car just won't cut it.

i use bout $20 a day to and from work in gas. I use 70-100 on weekend cruising on gas. The 4x4 5.3 Silverado isn't the most fuel efficient thing in the world. I'm getting another full sized truck in a few months but it's going to be 2wd and have a v6

I use the Samsung NV7 The new 10 series that is out is a monster. My vids are really clear and don't take up too much MBs but the audio isn't that great either.

door kit off of ebay is like 30 something plus shipping and it's 12 sq. ft. it works wonders, i did my doors with it.

2 good options for not that much money: baffles and dynamat speaker kit and any road/engine noise in general is going to deteriorate the SQ in the ride so get some bulk kits of sound deadener and strip everything out and start laying sheets down.

if you plan on sending something to ebay do it like this: I have experienced a problem with a seller here on ebay and I would like ebay to step in and help me get it resolved. Here is all the important information: Buyer: Your name, ebay id, email address Seller: his ebay id Item number: Then write a paragraph or whatever of what you would felt happened and what you would like to see accomplished from all this, as well as your reasoning behind it. Then supply the data, say something like here is the exchange of emails between myself (the buyer) and __________ the seller: insert emails and do quotes around his and your words so it is assumed it is exact quotes not you summarizing. Then thank them for their help. and send it off. You should get a pretty quick response from ebay. paypal is a little slow. edit: i also i had that problem (although not as bad) with my 6x9s. After I stripped everything out of my truck and redid the wiring and checked everything i no longer had that problem.

yea make sure you look over his policies along with ebay and paypal. Paypal was pretty slow about getting to my $650 but when I went strait to the bank paypal jumped off it's ass to help me out. Read over everything before you go raising hell about a defective product. Remember you are also dealing with a company and not a person so their intercommunication may not be that great. You have all the data just combine it together in a case format like you were about to hand it to a judge before you send it to ebay or paypal. They may/may not contact you again so you want to make sure they have all of your facts to go off of.

I hit 76 two weeks ago, 65 last week, and this week I'll be around 50. I have a guaranteed 40 and I can work however much OT I feel like. Need me a nice fat paycheck this week need to reserve my hotel room for SCRAPIN!

Just to clarify what happened here and the chain of events that leads me to believe someone on this forum fucked me over: 1. I post here that I will be getting DC lvl 4 18s from Rusty and will have them paid for as for Friday (May 30) 2. I get paid on Thursday, and my money posts on Friday 3. Friday morning (between 12:00 am and 5:00 am) I get hit from paypal for exactly $650 dollars. At 5:00 am I was waking up to send rusty $680. 4. I check what was purchased and it was an iphone (buyer: brina.g.cis seller: jorsenent item #: 200227349224) 5. I am freaking the fuck out. 6. File claim through paypal, thus making my account locked down and 7-10 days to resolve 7. I said fuck that so I call my bank and fill out the paperwork through them and should be getting my money back Monday or Tuesday (don't worry I changed all my account names/numbers and passwords to EVERYTHING). This was a strange paypal transaction as I didn't receive an email from them when the money got pulled. When I called paypal they immediately told me it was an unauthorized transaction. I didn't have to tell them that. They said I will be getting my money back. The next day I call them again and they said it would be 7-10 days. My bank is going to pull through for me first though. But I also realize that this is a PUBLIC place where anybody can view anything they won't so I won't hold anybody accountable. Yes I do know all the information on the seller, name, location, etc. No I know nothing of the buyer. I do not know if there was any collusion on their part nor do I care. I am getting my money back. The only thing this succeeded in doing is pissing me off enough and slowing down my build progress. Just a summary of how I got fucked. Word of advice to everyone: change your passwords often and don't use the same ones for multiple things.
