  1. Sounds loud bro ;D
  2. Reporting in from the Leavenworth, WA area!! How about you?
  3. Well, the power should make up for the small box.. So you should be fine. It could use more port though.
  4. Everything I've gotten from them I was 100% happy about. I promote them all the way.
  5. Don't assume that. I quite fancy my speakers actually!
  6. Subwoofer level wa set 15/15 (this isn't bass boost) Bass boost/treble ect. set to 0. Well it's funny, when I have my 4 channel hooked up, I can go to 27 with distortion(audible). But, with the headunit powering the speakers I can only bring it up to 23.
  7. My fault its not my headunit so i was kinda guessing so it is 35, do you know where it clips at soft clip or whatever? Nope, but on my unit, I can hear audible distortion in the 24-26 range. I don't go passed 23 on mine.
  8. I have the new type r 6.5's... I know you can do better for the price but they sound absolutely fantastic and take quite a bit of power
  9. You don't take the current wiring out when doing the big three. It just adds with the current flow. 0/1 gauge will not strain your factory alternator at all. Think of it this way, if you have a bucket of water and a small hose, the amount of water coming though the small hose is limited. But, upgrade your hose, and the water runs much more freely.
  10. Ordering a H/O Alternator from Mike Singer. Quality stuff at a fantastic price.
  11. Welcome stick around and you'll learn a ton!
  12. You obviously either did not read, or failed to comprehend. Craigslist can be great, but at times between the bumfucks and the lowballers you're only real choice is to wait and be patient. When I listed my T4000s locally for sale, I got offers from $300-$350 and took about 6 months before I even got asking price. Go to events, you might be able to find someone. I edited my post after I realized my mistake. My bad. But last time I checked you don't need to post the subs specs/pictures/asking price for advice of how to sell your subwoofers. I'm sure a "What is a good way to sell my subs? PayPal and eBay have issues", would get the job done.
  13. Need 150 posts to sell. EDIT: I guess you're asking for advice on how to sell them but this really looks like a for sale ad.
  14. Hopefully it sticks around. The lady and I will be headed up there at the end of the month PM me and maybe we can bump some bass while you're here
  15. Alright guys, that you for all the opinions! I'm going to save up for the singer alt. I hope he makes quality units!
  16. Do you guys think that maybe a big battery up front might get the job done better that the alt? Something like a XS D3400 or a Stinger SPV70?
  17. I haven't checked out Ohio Gen. yet, but DC 180 amp units are upwards of $400.
  18. Yeah, I really wish this wasn't the case.. I just spent $150 for 0/1 wire so I know how it feels to pay a ton for wire. To me, that is a great deal of money..
  19. Well, it's wrestling season at the moment. So I don't have any time for a job I have 2 at the moment. Stock battery up front, and a Stinger SPV44 in the back. The reason I want something soon is because I hate seeing my voltage drop so low, and it worries me that my equipment might be damaged with the low dips. Do you think a big battery up front might make a difference?
  20. Hello fellow bass heads!! Recently, i've been busting my ass trying to find a halfway affordable H.O. Alt for my 2003 Subaru Outback. The stock Alt is around 70-90 amps and I dip into the 11.5's with "1700" watts.. I've emailed Mechman, Excessive Amperage, and Mike Singer. So far, i've gotten responses back from two of them. When I visited Mechman's Website, the only direct fit unit they had for my car was only a 105 amp replacement unit for over $300! I thought this was quite a bit of money to pay for a extra 20 amps. I know that in the car audio game, you get what you pay for. But this is a little over the top. I emailed Eric asking him if he had any other options for me, or my car, and the responsive was negative. Mechman is out of the question. Next, I emailed Mike Singer to see if he could make me something special, and I received a email quoting me $360 dollars for a 200 amp unit. Seeing I'm young and without a job at the moment, this was still a little bit to much for me. I know this is a fantastic deal, but I won't have money again for quite a long while due to everyday expenses. I have a little under $300 dollars at the moment and that's my limit for what i can spend. Like i've said before, I know you have to spend money in this game to get quality products, but money is really an issue for me. I came across this the other day, My link Does this look legit to you guys? I read around on the Outback Forums, and a few dudes had installed this alt. And it seems that people have bought it in the past. This is about the most I can afford at the moment because i'm selling my xbox and a small alpine four channel to get a new alt. What do you guys think? Is it a legit Alt? Anybody else I should email or contact? Thank you!
  21. Over 16 inches here in the Leavenworth area!!!
  22. no comparison threads. How is this a comparison thread? All the dude wants to know is, what can he get out of the givin airspace, and what amp should he get. I think he was using the hifonics and re as an example.
