as long as you arent wiring at .5ohms, i personally wouldnt bother adding a batt. pretty much any stock electrical can handle that amp. an extra batt def wouldnt hurt any though! and to me, big 3 is a must in ANY vehical, whether it has a system or not. thats just me though.

When I tore apart my old T1, I was reall surprised at how big the older Rockford motors were. It holds a true 3" coil. Huge pole vent, pole unshifted. Dual 1" slug magnets. Weighs about 20lbs. Would be ideal for a 600-1200rms woofer. Asking $65 shipped.
