Way too much crap to think about/deal with at this current point in time. I just need sometime to get away from everything and figure out shit.

I personally have a RE SEX 15" slammin the lows 30-31 hz shakes the entire car to the bone. Its in an atrend box ported with 4 cubes and 34 hz tuning. Runnin on fairly low wattage. Amp says 600 by 4 ohms but no way in hell thats happenin XD. You can tune a lil lower but not much point with these subs, theyre loud as hell in general especially with a good amp.

The easiest way is to wire the led's directly into the subs inputs from the amplifier. That way when the sub gets power the led's also get power, this causes the led to blink and dim with the amount of power going to the sub. I haven't had any problems with this setup but I believe that it all depends on the amount of led's you will be running.

Names Chris, I'm a basshead from jersey. Just got into the whole car audio scene when I got my first car. In the process of turnin an 04 scion xB into the modern day version of a boom box. Gonna start a build log soon once i get everything sorted to set it up. Ended up here after a few late nights of searchin youtube for good subs. Found steves videos and now here I am learnin from some of the best guys in the business. Gotta give some thanks to steve for settin this up, easily the best forum for car audio on the web right now. -
going to attempt to install my alternator at some point this week. major fab and mods here I come XD, leds also gonna be finished up tomorrow.

where exactly do you have it grounded to? Is the grounding surface completely sanded down to bare metal because that was the problem I had with my system, if it isn't a clean ground it doesnt matter how tight you bolt it down.
