  1. Hmm... If you can't/don't want to strap them for whatever reason... Idk for sure if this would work but you could try using a splitter?
  2. If the amps are strappable you can just strap them and run the remote to the master
  3. sub looks beast I wish I had room for an 18 lmao
  4. I'm looking at trying to run at least 3 3100s in my trunk probably for the system I wanna do and I'm only doing a pair of BC 3500s strapped a RF 600.4 and a RF 400.4 probably (subject to change possibly before late may) if I can find somewhere other than my trunk to fit either my amps or my batteries (like under my back seats maybe) I may go for 4 or even 5 3100s just to make absolutely for damn sure I don't have any problems ever lol run an entire bank between my seat and the box lmao
  5. oh ok so it's an extra piece that you attach that regulates that stuff
  6. Is there like a switch to make the alternator charge at 16? Lol or does it just do it automatically
  7. What makes the difference between a 12v system and a 14 or 16v system? Just the type of batteries? Or do you have to change something with the electrical too
  8. you could strap them and then you wouldn't have to gain match ? IIRC though strapped amps usually do double at 2ohms what one of them is rated at 1ohm... but doubles your stable rating also (one amp stable at 1ohm strapped amps stable at 2ohm) and whatever you wire it to it cuts the load in half (wired to 4ohm get ~2ohm) so unless you have a strong electrical that may not be good cuz you'll be running what... 4k at 1ohm on a 2ohm stable setup?
  9. MAN!! Chicken def does have an insane fleet of cars!! I wish I had half the money to put into cars that he does
  10. yano how you should get back at all the haters? finish the astro and rattle their brains to death with the power lol ijs
  11. lol I wanna see the creative ways he finds to put enough mids and highs to still be able to hear the music over the probably more like 70k+ of bass lol
  12. If you have opposing sides of the car vibrating at different frequencies, you're creating different soundwaves constantly trying to overcome each other. The resulting sound waves left over are called residual sound and would most likely be lopsided which would probably result in a bad sounding system. Sometimes, the clash of fighting soundwaves creates the static sound most confuse for distortion. I was kinda more thinking doing the dynamat in the trunk and something else (second skin maybe? ) for the rest of the car or visa versa,
  13. then it is the dynamat extreme and you are fine to use it. i wouldnt layer one on top of the other thou (even thou u really shouldn't need to add more than 1 layer to begin with) ok thank you.
  14. 45,000 watts worth of amps... but 16V it ain't gna be no 45,000 watts lol
  15. i am hoping to do 9 SMD 15 (v2's) powered by.......well, i am not sure yet. The plan is 2 T2500.1bd Cp amps on each one @ 16v (yes, 18 T2500.1bdcp) - subject to change though as i don't have any products. This has been on my mind for months though. GAWD!!! dude that will be insane!!
  16. I have no clue what it is i didn't even know what deadener was when i bought it lol
  17. This is probably gna earn me a few "duh" comments but would it be a problem mixing deadeners? I bought some dynamat from a friend of mine a while back and never got around to installing it and i don't want it to go to waste once i get around to doing it but I'm not really sure if it would be enough to do my whole car our not... I don't know for sure how much it is and right now it's in storage but my friend had bought it to do 2 layers in the trunk of his lancer and I've got a Taurus...
  18. traitor naw jk if you haven't already post in the Virginia Check in thread in the Random Topics forum there's actually a bunch of us lol
