i forget were i seen it but yesterday i was lookin at 4ch amps for my truck and one said you can run it in dual tri mode 2 mids n highs off front channel in stereo with a sub bridged and the same thing on rear but it has to be a 4ohm bridged load and has to be set to flat i have never done this befor but has anyone tryed it yet? i think this is what the dude is talkin bout most 2ch amps can be ran tri mode with 2 mids n highs stereo with a 4ohm bridged load to a sub, i dont kno how good this will work but u will halfto have seperate xovers wired in line for it to work n i think its more for smaller setups tho this is the amp i was talkin bout http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_23084_Polk_Audio_PA_2004.aspx but most of the amps ive seen can be ran in tri mode but halfto have seperate xovers for the speakers i dunno but i wouldn't try it tho

is that guy still on ebay were you got that wire from or is it diff wire now since yours got cought on fire that one time? that team broke ass wire you had a while back and i guess you would halfto make your own termials out of copper pipe with 4/0 tho

i got polk db6500 comps in my custom front doors of my geo(they did have pockets in the doors and 4'' speakers in the dash but i made some pods and mounted em to the door panel and works fine) and polk db 651's in my custom rear deck ran from a majestic 300w 2ch, could use a bigger amp and some deadining on the geo doors cause goin down the road the midbass sucks ass, but i put some deadining on my trucks doors so they should sound good they sound ok but im gunna take the kickers out of my truck and put my polks in it and see how they sound my polks are the older white comps and my coax are the newer gunmetal type ones, with car off but cdplayer on they sound clear and clean as hell, midbass sounds awesome and i got a good deal on mine from local shop, so i cant complain i dont kno what these mids n highs can take rms but mine do fine with what i got but could take more and i had a sony 600w 4ch hooked to em n u barally could hear em i dont know what you want for a 4ch, me personally if i dont need fading from front n rear i just run a 2ch but being your gunna be doing 2 comps up front and 2 in rear then a 4ch will work better alpine type s sound good and can be had at a good price also if you dont have a new headunit i suggest getting a decent one cause thats pritty much were your sq comes from unless u wanna run a eq off stock deck

ya, to many 4x4's, you could cut that in half by useing 2x6's and anchor em to the concrete steps and should work better also with grading anyways good sketchup, we got a home kad designer but i aint that useto it yet so i unno with the designing like this im oldschool with pencil and paper with tape measure lol

i got the 8000k h4 hi/low 35w kit and it looks good, dunno but i want the 55w kit now anyways ima get a 6000k 9004 hi/low kit for my geo oh, and it says this on there site but most ppl dunno how to interperate it but factory wireing harness's can support 35w hid kits but cant handle the 55w kits as good due to how they run there systems my h4 kit just uses one of the factory plugs to give both ballasts as my old h4 low beam kit the ballasts pluged into each plug, 1 plug per ballast and on the ddm kits they use 1 plug instead of both to run there ballasts, and the high beam wire runs to a relay and then from the relay to the bulbs to make em move for high beam if u ever get a h4 or 9004 high/low kit from them and see a wireing harness thats not the same thing as a ballast relay harness, yes it hooks to the battery but it doesnt do the same thing the relay ballast kit gives the 55w kits more juice than what u would get from factory wireing, and all it does is use the factory plug to tell it to turn on the relay and it just gets all its power from the battery why i typed this is because most ppl dont kno what you need to run hids, you dont need a wireing harness for 35w kits cause factory wireing is big enough to carry the current but cant do to good of a job for the 55w kits by how they wire them hope this makes sence, oh and my maxcar 35w h4 8000k kit is just as bright as the ddm kit and i payed $200 for them, but they retail for over $300 so i guess its a deal tho

does anyone kno were i can purchase headunit screws kinda like the ones that come with pioneer decks, i halfto go to my local shop to get em but would like to buy a bag with a few in em every cdplayer i put in a car ecept for maby 3 the factory screws worked on the sides of the deck, but anyone kno were i can get these type screws from?
