im confused, u said there only 2 of em made but is it like 2 10's, 2 12', 2 15's and 2 18's or like what sizes are available in those? and whats a guestamation on how many watts those will handle cause then i have more to work with, are u wantin sealed or ported, are u wantin a groundpounder or a spl box? im just sayin do that box with like 3 12's, 2 15's or 1 18, anyways there sick lookin subs but looks like those would get some mad excursion to, anyways good luck with ur choices

4 12's inverted ina crx style box in the trunk might fit, or 3 12's sealed in trunk but ied atleast put some plexi in that thing so ppl can see those sick motors, whats the power rating on those?

oh ya, my first system was 2 mtx4000 10's ina sealed box i built off of a vr3 400watt 4ch(walmart but acually really good amp and took a beating for a while runnin @ 4ohmx2channel, i ran 2 kicker comp 10's(old ones with the k in the middle) and those mtx 4000 10's off it and it took it like a champ, and a old pioneer deh5 cdplayer n 4guage wirein kit

do u still have that box by chance i got a 10 jl wo in my bedroom ina prefab walmart box, or have build specs on that box so i can build my own just like it, only reason im askin this is cause i dont kno how to tune a ported box with the port, im always buildin sealed boxs and would like a ported one, and i got a 12'' wo ina ported box i think its @ 45htz but i baught it already made without no carpet on it, ied rly like to see what that lil sub can do

u can do 4 12's down fire and still see out teh back window, i think i can fit 4 12's in my truck but its sealed, or an upfireing ported box with a port in the middle should sound ok, but i switched my box around when i had my 2 12's in my truck and i got better bass with them faceint the seat with port in the middle but i only had 500wrms goin to em n tehy was 2 rockfordpunchhx2 12's ina prefab but got down when needed but upfireing i didn't think i had enulf power to push em how they needed but when i built my downfire box it got alot louder with the 15's fireing down than it did when they was up, ied do 4 12's ina downfire with a amp rack on the top of the box and put plexi on the front side faceing teh seats so u can see the motors and light it up, im thinkin of doin the same thing with my setup, just when u build it devide it into 4chambers if ur usein 4 diff amps or 2 chambers for 2 amps should work fine, my buddy who owns a shop said it would sound louder if i ported my downfire box twards the floor but he said it sounded cleaner the way it is now than if it was ported but i like me some low bass and u can get enough airspace for 4 12's ina downfire sealed

i was thinkin that also but aint the remote wire just a constant 12v or does it regulate with the power in from the battery? and how many amps are they?

what ied do is wire the blue wire to the red wire on ur headunit, the red to the yellow wire on the headunit, and black on the headunit and should work that away thats how ied do it but then again wont that register off the front battery how would u kno about the back battery or buy 2? ive been wondering this for a while

well in that little of space ied do sealed downfire boxs, make em atleast 2&1/2'' off the floor so the cone dont hit, and no need for port my friend put 2 shallow mount pioneer 12's off a mtx 1501d ina linkon truck under rear seats and it hit good lows, the boxs dont halfto be that big just big enulf for the sub to fit and bout 1 or 2'' behind the magnet if it has a vented pole piece but if not it dont matter i got 2 15's ina downfire in my excab settin on the seats, well they fold back so i folded them back and put the box on teh floorboard in the back were they set down, i needa take new pics i swiched out my mtx 5500 15's to mtx8000 15's and switched out mids n highs amp, i'll take a vid and let u judge for urself on sealed down fire boxs, i kno mines big but i did it that a way for volume, but urs u dont rly need it cause with the little space it will be kinda like a bandpass box, hope this helps, ied make 2 down fire boxs and in the middle is were ied put my amp so it will look clean and have breathing room and ppl wont mess with it, but ied put like plexi in front of it and light it up so ppls feet wont mess with somethin, oh and if ppl get in back seats put some type of grill were it will rest on the floor so frys or papers or shit wont get up under it, i'll try to do a drawing to show u waht im talkin bout

i was wondering the same thing cause most cars airbags trigger by a vibration sensor or somethin like that, i dont see how cause it would take alot of gforce to set one off but ied hate to be settin at a stop light bumpin and all of a sudden get knocked back in my seat by an air bag, that would suck

i would put the dynamat on first if i was gunna do it but i think dynamat makes stuff in a bucket u can put on thats susposto be like bed liner, but ied do it that way cause i think bed liners made so stuff dont stick to it, ied put it over dynamat when i put it on should stick
