Ok. Now I have had people tell me that. Since I was thinking on adding 6x9 to the back window. Could I also put them there? My 6x8 stock in the doors. Or is it better to put in the doors? If so I would have to put them in the front doors for my daughter doesn't get to them.

I have 2 amps on the back of my back seats. And one is under my driver seat. Which my seats have a good gap. So I have a board bolted to the chair frame then amp bolted to it. And the grounds for the ones in the trunk are to the metal side walls. Didnt think that grounding them to the back of my seats would be a good idea due to amps there. ( back of my seats are a thin metal.) And the one under my seat is grounded to the seat frame. Oh and I dont want to start drama here. I have more then enough drama at home. Single father with baby mama drama. It is like the worse kind of drama. Especially when I have full custody of my daughter.

2003 ford focus se. Trunk not the hatch back. And I have to keep my back seat cause of my 1 1/2 year old daughter. SO under the back seat works fine.

I have 2 12" kicker dcvr which I have 2 kenwood performance series 1,800 watt amps going to those at 2 ohms. Then DC audio lvl2 8" on the DC audio 2.0k amp. why are you running a lvl 2 and kickers? im not going to get into whether you can or cant mix sub sizes blah blah blah, but just wondering why 2 12s and an 8? Waiting for someone to ask that. I seen a friend of a friend focus like mine with 2 8" under the back seat. So, I have him helping me with that part. I cant do what I want due to my back seat for my daughters car seat. So underneath works great. And the kickers will be changed once I get that money.

do a seperate run of 1/0 to each amp from the back battery. And you will be good. Are they strapped at all? are they all sub amps or 2 monos and 1 4chan? edit: ninja'd Sub amps. I am still working on the box for the 2 8"subs for under my back seats. So they are sitting in a temp box on the floor of my back seats. So all 3 are class d monoblock amps. 2 1800 watts and a 2k

So then what would ya recommend for the power wires? All to one battery or that does not matter? One is under the hood to replace the stock battery and one in the trunk. One new one that I do not have in yet.

I originally did that. But, was told it was a bad idea on here. So went and got that splitter. And it is only split 2 ways. Now I have 2 batteries. Should the power wires from all 3 goto one battery?? Or put the third battery in and have 1 power wire per battery? Want suggestions before I fully finish the system.

Now I have 3 amps. I went to mickey shores and they gave me a splitter for the power wire. Now i have seen builds where they have a splitter box for the power wire. Atleast that is how they say it. Is there a power wire splitter box and not this little one to 2 power wire splitter mickey shores gave me??? This one is Almost the size of the fuse box for my 0 gauge wiring kit. I mean it works. But, if there is something better. I would like to try to upgrade to it.

i triple checked everything. all is hooked up fine glad its under warranty looks like its getting sent out been working fine for months nothing was changed Well, then that is a good thing for warranty. Suck to be out of an amp till they get it replaced or repaired. 3100's?? Guessing xs power?? If so ask one of there reps. See what they say as for charging.

If the batteries are charged and all wires are connected to the right spots. Then that could be the amp did go. Hope thats not the reason. You double checked all of the wires and connections?

yeah it was hooked up while they was charging I had some people say it can cook the amps. Some say it does not. I disconnected it just to make sure nothing happened. Did you check all of your fuses? Dumb question but, never know.

Was it all still hooked up? I usually disconnect my batteries before recharge. Got mixed reviews on what could happen. So I took no chances on something happening.

Sorry I saw that and just slipped my mind. I would do the d3100 and then d2700. Or even just get 2 d3100. If it is going under the hood to replace your stock battery. That d3100 will work. What is the max wattage you are going for? And the xs power rep on here is very helpful too. Forgot his name. He helped me to get the 2 I got for my car.

I got the d3100 that replaced my stock battery under my hood. Then have the 2700 in the rear. And that works for me. I am running 2 1,800 watt amps running at 800amps at 2 ohms each.

Yea. Probably should check the whole electrical. I have a new DC audio 2.0k amp and I know that amp is not bad. At-least I hope that it is not a bad amp. Now maybe my kenwoods. Glad I did not order that alt yet.... Busy hockey weekend. So I'll have to wait till my games are over on monday... Thanks everyone for some suggestions.
