so lately my alt belt has been slipping a good amount. no system in the car right now and my voltage sits around 13.9-14.3 with the belt slipping. every now and then i see 14.8-14.9 when the belt isnt slipping. replacing the tensioner pulley soon belt is new. then when ever i turn my high beams on (hid) or off my hu cuts out for a second.

i am, its my belt tensioner going bad. i have one sitting in my closet. im gonna go over all the wiring for the hid and make sure everything is good. ive already checked the hu wiring. its a new deh 80 prs, seems like whenever their is a quick voltage drop of about .5 or more it shuts off then right back on. actualy might be trying to get a 2 door hatchback same as mine but mine is a 4 door hatch. the body on mine is all beat up paint issues and its an auto.

Get a new belt and scrub off your pulleys with a wire brush to deglaze them

belt is less then 5 months old lol. if needed ill replace it.
