  1. WOW your an idiot, Rockford is expensive but you get more power than rated for, and overall a great quality built amplifier kicker amps are good as well but if u have dual 2ohm voice coils get a kicker zx1500.1 and if u have dual 4ohm voice coils find a 1ohm stable amp, or you could always get two kicker zx750.1 my bro has one one his single 12" l7 and his is rated a 936wrms and it pounds in his 2.9ft^3 box tuned to 40hz
  2. They made 'em, kid I knew in Florida had one in his cavi.
  3. Too bad I didn't pick it up for $40 I wish  , the shipping on the thing was more than that....it was over $300 + the brand new Hifonics BXi20006d and the guy wont respond so basically that money is down the drain. Talked to Pioneer and they don't sell soft parts nor do they repair subs..... So basically have a 75+lbs of box that takes up space and a 75lb massive paper weight. I don't know what to do, I might get my dad to throw the box back in and use the blown woofer as a passive radiator. Hate to say it but after this I don't think he is gonna do anymore car audio installs, for him at least, I was sick too and worked on this thing for like 20 hours... in the cold like 20 degrees outside with little or no heat the whole time. The sad thing is before we ever added all this stuff I wanted to test the woofer but figured it wasn't necessary..... OHHHH how I was extremely negligent and lazy in not doing so. After this episode I'M NEVER BUYING ANOTHER THING OF ANY SORT OF VALUE OFF THE INTERNET UNLESS ITS FROM AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER :excl: :excl:   BTW this is all in my dad's caddy not my car cause im a poor high school kid that loves audio & BASS!
  4. Well its pretty gay to say the least all that work for nothing, theres something wrong with the voice coils, it hits but it makes and unbearable scratching sound, a sound I have never heard in my life. For the record the sub, amp, and everything was wired properly, must be a faulty woofer. Check on multiple amps rewirded and its just bad bad bad bad.
  5. Well the box is complete gonna get some of the pics uploaded havent put the subs in yet, But you that the 2 Ts-w5102's weigh 75lbs a piece and the box another 75 or more. So we are looking at 225+lbs in a trunk this thing is gonna be heavy. Got get the airshocks off the blown olds and put on the caddy with just the single 12 in the trunk + box is about 115lbs and the rear end in squatting bad. Thanx again amatt85
  6. I would say HO alt, however caps do help, try the batcap 300 or 400 model they worked pretty well for me.
  7. killed my first deer with my marlin 30-30 but ended up selling it b/c of moving....my dad had a gun shop so i had alot of guns
  8. Funny you should say that i also considered that, and that amp has 800w more power than it is rated for @ 14.4v, but the subs are 2ohm DVC subs I would need two xxv-thors to power them.
  9. Wells heres the images you all requested that the woofer I just got today 2nd one. Still need that box design This thing is a beast for a 12.... Now that there is two, prolly gonna need a HO alt already have dual batteries and a xstatic batcap 400. thinking 220+ amp alt single alt, and instead of another hifonics bxi20006d, some rf t20001bd
  10. Well so much for the pics my brother erased all the images off my flashcard in my pearl, I'll have to take some more when I get a chance.
  11. Ported (vented) 33-35hz Heres a pic for all the tech specs
  12. Well until money permits I would go with a single 15
  13. cmon can't any1 design a box for me? please
  14. Nice dude, congratz on both HUGE FISH BTW where do u live you have odd looking grass
  15. I have some pics I'll jhave to upload them, they are taken with my blackberry pearl ( not great buy decent quality)
  16. Wanted to but I don't have a camera, lemme put it to you this way 30mm of xmax
  17. Already have one, other is being shipped. Currently have the one on a Hifonics BXi2006D. Might get a rf 20001bd for each sub suggestions? Also, keep the tuning between 33-35hz if possible. Height- 15"** Width- 38"** Depth- 20"** **Note: These are all maximum enclosure parameters. If you could get the depth lower that would be great but keep in mind the top mount depth. Second post, been reading this forum and looking at the site for the last few months, and previously heard of Steve from Realm of Excursion, where I found his site. You guys do some great work (especially Steve), appreciate all the help. Thanks, Will
