hey, i have a xs power battery thats been sitting in the low 12's for a while. I want to "cycle" it a few times or "desulfate it. i want some details on how to come about that. I picked up a Schumacher 100amp load tester, and i have a xs power 12volt intellicharge as well as a regular 2/4/6 amp charger. the battery is a d975

hey man, can you do a load test like in his video? im pretty sure it'll only be 10minutes of you time.and it will make us all happy, you can just compare it to the d3100 if you dont have other batts It is rated for 3000 watts, So do a load of about 250-300 amps for X amount of time. Would like to see 30-60 seconds. We know its not the d3100 so no need to compare them at 500 amps. just got mine, great. Only one concern, the post are sooo small (compared to a d3100) but i guess thats were the price diff is. lol look at second pic.

say the xp3000 run out now, will you still be able to order it and have it shipped when in stock. Or will you have to wait till you guys get stock again? will you guys stock them the whole month? lol i ordered one, but i need 2. I would say it would be over 1Ohm after box rise

I already have the cca so that's not an option , I meant 1 run of neg from frnt bat to rear bats and I run from frame to rear bats . Why would I need so much wire if the cable is rated for 300amps and my alt will only put out about 250amps once warm, the front bat should not provide the rest of the 350amps that the rest of the wire is rated for (600amps 2 runs of 300amps)

Just wondering, ill be running a dc 5k at .5 ohms and a sundown 200.4 at 4ohms. Would 2 xp3000 in the rear, a small one like a d5100 for the front, a 270 amp alt and 2 runs of positive,1 run of neg and a negative to the chasis of xs power cca 1/0 keep me in the mid 13s?

Well I kind of see where cj is comming from, that answer that the second poster posted was kind of useless lol.... If I was to post in a thread similar to this I would post of anyone that has done it or to be careful with the knob also design the right box and set the gains so there's no clipping at all ect.

Hey, I noticed you guys didn't have any nj reps I was wondering what are the requirements and how would I go On becoming one. Also do you guys attend any competitions or show around this area I would like to rep dc, and be a team member, what are the requirement to become A team member.

the problem is i do a lot or working on cars on the go (i dont own a shop, so usually in the streets or backyards and stuff) so i dont always have a power outlet near me. i didnt even know they made that lol. they look pretty solid, but from my research they simply are rebranded weller irons, so im going to look into which specific weller is the snap on. i saw that one, but if im not mistaken thats only the iron. No tips case ect. i sent a message to the seller to confirm this

hey guys, i am currently looking for a good butane soldering iron. I checked the one Steve uses "steinel ts 600" i really like it and it looks good but the cheapest i can find it is for 140. I'm looking to spend max 80 for one. I need it to have a torch (for heat-shrink) feature and if possible a little carrying case but the case isn't mandatory. What would you guys recommend. I currently have a radio shack one and it takes for ever to heat up, so this new one has to be quick.
