  1. NO, point the subs forward and the ports to the drivers side on the side of the box.
  2. Let me give you some advise, one trunk car guy to another.... fire the subs forward and get two 6 inch aeros or four 4 inch port to the drivers side.

  5. Same way as slot ports, by the length. Two 4 inch ports would work fine for two 12 inch CRV's. In a 4 cubic foot box just cut one of the straight sections in half for a tune around 34 hz. This is a 4 cubic foot box that I built for a guy with two 12's and two 4 inch aero's.
  6. If you use aero ports it won't take up as much space as a slot port so you can make a smaller box. 4 inch aeros are only like 13 bucks each...
  7. I am just going with what I know works. Subs up port forward got me a 148.6 off of 2000 watts. Just need to make sure you got about 10 inches from the trunk lid. However, subs and ports forward will pound like hell too.
  8. No forward... fire the port foward! No. 2, 3 or 4 firing the port forward.
  9. Damn, I thought from the heading that it was a 2.5 roundover not two .5 roundovers.
  10. I don't think your leaf springs are suppose to bend that way.
  11. Think about it this way.... buy the subs and amp while you can get them at a good deal. Then save up for the other stuff. Nearly everyone buys stuff a little at a time. You could run two subs on the 3500 at 2 ohms in a cheap box while you save up for the rest of the stuff. You may not even need a battery running the 3500 at 2 ohms.
  12. Nice score, what size sub(s) and how many? Which way do you have them firing?
  13. Fi subs never read what they say they are. As Kicker guy said you should be fine running them.
  14. Yay... another bangin.... Welcome to the club!!! Edit: I would highly recommend... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=42354 and I Sae-1200d or Saz-1000.
  15. Sundown Z 15... Edit: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=40001
  16. A 1200d still does 1500 watts. One Saz-1000 per sub or a Saz-2000 per pair of Z15's is a perfect match.
