Ok So the city has gotten on us big time with all the shit in our yard, Cant blame them but its what ever. So there was alot of time spent helping clean up (it was bad). This was the hardest of everything to break down This is what is in the building, plus the blue tarp in the second to last pic Had to get the body back on the frame using a tractor, come along, air jacks, 2x4s and cinder blocks... All on uneven rocky rutted ground 3/4 tires held air after 21 years in storage Out the side gate she goes! Backyard is clean again! Came across this Rebuilt factory high output alt for my car. 162 Amps at 2k. about 100 at idle. not bad, had to do something because my last one got torched getting the bolt unseized when I rebuilt the engine

I missed having that sun visor in the pt cruiser. Much better Also among all of my interior lights being converted to LED. Also got some single beam LED headlights. No more ugly yellow halogen! Before: After Side by Side: Both LED Had to throw my fog lights on too. Back to that center console that ive been building for 2 years on and off. lol Now that i have a reason to work on it and somewere to install it when its done. Steel rod to keep it from flexing and cracking on me. I lined all this with scrap carpet so it wouldnt scrape my shifter on install. SMC Hardset filler to the rescue. Such a pain to sand but this shit works great! So much sanding lol So much filler primer lol 1 Temperature meter, 2 Volt meters After a couple coats of SEM Texture Coating, to simulate the vinyl texture. Looks so nice already. Phone couldnt focus that well, ya get the idea lol After SEVERAL coats of some SEM color coat flexible paint FINALLY DONE!!

Its been like Christmas in April will packages coming left and right of car parts. Shits getting serious now down to the wire, (BTW the garage Im using will need to be completely scrubbed clean with in a few days of this being done lol) Nice new shiny pistons! Almost ready for some POR15 After 2 coats of POR15, No more rust! POR'd my intanke manifold also. Have a chrome fuel rail for it i will be putting in eventually lol

Between this post and the last post was almost a year of saving, collecting and planning and waiting for this moment. Got the old one out! Time for a complete overhaul so i can drive my own car again after sitting for 2 years lol Time to de-gunk everything and prep it for paint! What a mess All clean! Old pistons out! Considering this car has 167,000 miles on it these were in amazing condition. The journals were HARDLY worn. Obviously they were getting noisy from some piston slap, so time to replace! Had to get the rest of my exhaust off to fix it properly were it broke a while back, and quick fixed it with a clamp or 2 lol. Figured id take some underneath shots to show how solid this thing is still. Why i justified spending more than it was worth to get it on the road again. Basic ohio surface rust but shes SOLID! Time for some paint!

Also, this is my kind of luck. For once i lucked out but this is the shit i deal with lol Couple random pictures from a huge storm that came through the next night. The calm before: Awesome aftermath, powers out for blocks shits sparking in the sky.

Now its time to test out those door panels ive been working on. (This amp already has been replaced by a OA800.4 This was just for a quick idea) Dont mind the spaghetti, just for quick gain and impedance testing lol Door panels are not finished, will be re finished the same way Im doing my center console. This one with the crushed dustcap is on its last legs but still works! his new brother is sitting in a box until im ready for final installation. All i have to say is even on very conservative tuning, these bitches scream and sound great doing it. Definately want more bass now Also our classic cars garage is getting a new roof so we had to bring them home for one night, figured id take some pics for you guys.

Heys guys, been a while since I updated this but i have been super busy. Much more stuff coming shortly but for right now ill catch you all up. Starting building this box for my cousin. 4 12's, 4 cubes sealed, Ford Ranger (no more escort zx2) Resin was in the sun and started to cook, eh still works My fat ass finger in the way but got the top 2 baffles cut and flush trimmed Then it occurred to me, oh fuck. Made a 50 mile trip just to make sure this wasnt an issue. Close but it fits! 3rd and final baffle, mainly for cosmetics. One of the first coats of stain, just to get an idea... Had to tease him with this pic. After several stains and lots of poly. Not too shabby if i say so myself

I know how much you guys love pictures and theres almost 100 new ones, just cant please you guys huh? lol

Friend of mine sold me 2 mtx thunder 12's for 15 bucks so I made a box for the Pt cruiser lol. Box actually sounded amazing for only being 500 watts! Since i had everything wired up for bass i figured ehh what the hell. lol Also dipped the wheels because those chromes were a pain in the ass to keep clean, and working 2 jobs i cant keep my daily driver detailed as much as i used too Also new deck Gave myself a fat sun visor also. lol Decided to make a big ass box for the mtx's just for shits and giggles and it sounds so much better ported!

After deadening everything. time to put the carpet back in! Group shot Pulled an all nighter sanding, and sanding, and sanding..... finally saw day light lol. Thanks to Mark aka CarAudioFabrication for this awesome tip. saved me a fortune in sandpaper and makes the job much easier!

Got some new tweets for the doors also! Tinted the new daily! Nothing great or expensive because its not my car lol. Also dipped everything that was chrome. It was all rust pitted anyway once i got the thing clean lol. Time to start the other side. This is my first time doing door panels and theres already alot id do differently. So much sanding.....

Now that everything is weatherproofed.... They peekin'! Started a huge project since the car will be sitting for quite some time. If the whole motor is apart ill be doing a complete overhaul. Car has 167000 miles on her, stuff is getting tired lol. Any guesses? This may help

Got a little something in the mail also. Interior is already half stripped, might as well go the other half way! There is a car under there believe it or not. Will soon be my new temporary daily driver. And so the fun begins! A temporary work shop also with heat, and no one to bug me for a few months!! Plenty of room to fit a 1970 Cadillac my Neon and his Concord! Not bad for a trailer. lol Its literally half house half garage.

I get my box out and find my jack and bar frozen to my wheel well. lol. Some crazy pictures from when that storm came through Car was frozen to the ground lol Time to fix this leak once and for all! And of course it started to rain on me -.- Started a new project as well. The last box for the rear shelf was too big and the seats wouldn't latch onto the sheet metal.

New A pillars are finished and installed. The last ones weren't flush mounted. Console is starting to take shape! Its a close fit! Well after the ridiculous -40 degree Cleveland weather. I was able to break the ice away from my trunk to inspect all my equipment Found this shit right by the notorious taillight leak that I knew was coming back. Which means time for a tear down to do shit the right way. Also head gasket and or head is shot so I also have an overheating problem

So i began to attempt and make this setup look half way decent. Had to make a run to pull a part for some things. Basshead storage problems! lol Starting new A pillars and a custom center console. No pics of a pillar progress just because I was in one of those get shit done modes lol. But here is the old one, all that bondo lol. Very rough so bear with me guys, it only gets better.
