  1. I was thinking about hacking apart an old mixer and using the analog VU meters from it, but I think I might like this a little better.
  2. I just wanted to post some results I got after installing Damplifier Pro (b-stock) into the trunk of my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. I made the video for another site, but thought you'd enjoy this; I know I enjoyed the results. Please be aware I'm no Steven Spielberg, but I got the job done. Check the youtube channel for the complete set of installation videos that I did. Before (tap test at :27): After (tap test at :50): Thanks! This stuff is fantastic and worth every penny.
  3. Like that, but cut slots in the plexiglas to allow the subs to breathe like n8 said.
  4. Excuse me for pointing out the fact you're talking outta yer ass.
  5. You brought up the TOS documents, not me. I'm just using your own argument against you. Also, nowhere did I ever say you were "safe on the Internet" so I don't know where you got that from. I'm an IT manager for an insurance company. I deal with this shit all the time. Corporations are scared shitless of litigation...that's why they have all of these documents published in the first place. Everything a company does comes down to money. It does not make economical sense for a corporation the size of Microsoft, Sony, google, whoever to SELL information like usernames and passwords, BECAUSE of organizations like wikileaks, the smoking gun and anonymous. If anyone found out that Microsoft was selling passwords, they would be litigated out of business.
  6. You can take off your tin hat, Sheena; Microsoft explicitly describes how it collects, retains and uses "personal information" right here: http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/fullnotice.mspx#use
  7. Most password hacking programs don't go very deep as far as the number of characters in the password or the character types. That's why Nate said to use a LONG password, plus something with uncommon characters. It makes the password infinitely harder to crack, even when you have a cracking program.
  8. This. And use <alt> characters too; things like ½ or º or Ü. It's not Yahoo's fault your password got hacked, it's your fault for not making it secure.
  9. He was doing 150's with that IIRC...single 18" with two powerbass amps.
  10. Thought you might like this...the user took down his vids, but the pics are still there... http://www.caraudioforumz.com/showthread.php?t=199136 Crazy flex in that poor 3G. He did use his back seat though.
  11. Thats what I was thinking, I wasnt sure though. Everyone seems to be all about cone area. So i 15 in the 6 cube box then? I cant wall my eclipse, i need the back seat open for work stuff. In that case, use one with the 6cuft box.
  12. The 3G flexes like crazy with big systems in it. Others have done walls in hatches like the 3G; it could be done.
  13. ^ Are both the modem and router providing IP addresses (DHCP server enabled)? What's the entire IP address of the Apache server?
  14. I was just going to say to go with the first one because of loading issues. Check the guy with the avalanche; he's got loading issues in his L-port box, and is planning on rebuilding. Another dude (on another forum) blew one of his 10" DC subs because of uneven loading, and he's got (had, I guess) a 150 trunk car. The PVC port in AmmoJammo's post above mine looks hella sweet too.
  15. Uhh...that _is_ what I was talking about. I like your article better though.
