  1. Are all the dd1 rca inputs flush with the case? I found that I couldn't fit my stinger 8000 series rca into the dd1.
  2. Damnnn I am going to start saving for a Z v.4!!! And amp, batteries, alternator and wiring...lol right after I just got everything in something better comes and damn gotta have that, and that, and that.. Thanks sundown!
  3. Thanks for the d2700 it was at 12.70v threw it in and first of all, it was a nice solid heavy ass battery! My voltage was stable on my 500bdcp I'm going to have to upgrade to some 0 gauge runs and 0 to 4 gauge adapters! Thanks xs power
  4. more power!!!!!! D2700 and more power!!!!!!!!!! RF P400-4

  5. Ok so I saved up enough, im about to buy the d2700!! How long can I expect this battery to last me here in OH with the system I have? And were online should I purchase?
  6. No I have my 2 on about 800rms.. Actually I would like that new v.3 amp idk if they would lol!! I'm not surprised their taking it, what amp do you have and electrical to back it? How is yours doing on tracks that play about 26-30hz?
  7. Ill say... My E series have features I've never seen before in a entry level woofer, their thermal handling is great! I actually want to get a bigger amp so I can have excuse to upgrade to SA's lol, from rf T500bdcp & 2 E series 12's to a set of SA 15 on a v.3 1500 only need to sell current setup and wait on v.3's and 150 post count haha
  8. Is this going in a tahoe? 4 sundown E15's!!!
  9. I have my 2 E12's on my rockford T500-1bdcp. They absolutely love what they are getting which I would say is about 700w. I would recommend you get a 1000w rms amplifier, they seem like they could take more but idk if they will take 1500w rms, its your call but I know they get plenty loud off of less than rms power. Imo I think its mostly in the enclosure, my prefab I had and this box I just built is a night and day difference in extension, response, and power handling.
  10. My T500-1bdcp was $288 new from amazon... It is tiny, its birthsheet was 800w. It moves my 2 E series sundown 12's like there is no tommorrow. I love it, but I would save and get the new sundown 1500 if I had to get a new one.
  11. No never buy a capacitor.they are worthless and they rob from your power supply. I suggest either running at 4 ohms for better efficiency or get some xs power batteries and try to upgrade your alternator... One ohm at 1000w is definitely straining your boats charging system. Maybe make sure your power and ground wires are big enough (at least 4 gauge) not just the wires to the amp either you want the engine grounds and the alternator charging wire to be 4 gauge also
  12. Ok I thought I remembered my teacher telling me that...i just had given advice to someone wanting to get a diehard platinum to go with his kinetik hc1200 and I didn't mention this because I was unsure...
  13. Lol ok the platinum is a good choice man. I would put it under the hood the kinetik will look nicer with the amp rack for sure. I need a budget friendly strong agm battery too, let me know how the platinum performs.
  14. Ok you need something to maintain the battery I'm not familiar with boats though..you might need to do something like a couple xs power batteries and a xs charger then you could have the charge last you while your out on the water. You definitely don't want to keep letting the system do what its doing, this will cause something to be damaged.most likely the amp or subwoofer. Discharging the battery like that can damage it also. Good luck man.
  15. Hook the meter to the positive and ground on your amp and monitor the dc voltage while playing music for a period of time and see how low the voltage will drop. If it goes down to 12ish volts and below into the 11's while playing full tilt that is causing the amp to protect.
  16. If you mismatch different size and model batteries can't they bleed off voltage to each other and then the weak one is left discharging? So when running two or more get the exact same and replace at same time?
  17. The 2700 is better than the 3400. I'm looking at 350$ probably
  18. They recommend the d2700. It fits my model truck and will b more than enough to power my system. About 350$$ ouch. I hope too see some stable voltage numbers maybe even a solid 14, that would be sweet!!
  19. Thank you nathan. When I buy this battery will I have to have it initially charged? Do these batteries need to be charged on any basis as a daily driver? I don't know anyone with a charger...
  20. Lol what about for power and ground haha jk disregard that!! Thanks guys. I have one more thing to do, get a XS power battery to replace my wet cell. I was thinking to get the S1200 our the S3400. I plan on getting a T400-4 next anyone have a recommendation, I have asked xs power and am waiting on reply.
  21. Nope the amp gets warm and the dust cups do too but only warm. The wiring isn't ever warm. Thanks n8
