  1. sorry dakota read the for sale rules please. You dont meet hte requirements.
  2. I spent over 6 grand on a 2 12w7 setup, honestly, it cant even hit 143 db, it sucks. JL is such a waste of money, unless you only care about SQ. Try DC audio
  3. Its okay, its works. But damn, i had a great time there. it was nice to meet all u guys!
  4. To all: I'l go back through my footage (theres alot), if you have a request just PM me & i'l try my best to help you out.

  6. I stayed up extra late tonight working on putting together some of the footage i took during the bass race world finals in Lima, Ohio the last 2 days! It will take awhile for me to upload it to youtube, but it will be up & running sometime tomr! Check back on SMD tomr, i put several hours into this & hope you like it! If you attended Lima, you'l probably see your vehicle in it. Hope i can get up for work! night everybody. - Wisdom
  7. No, you will NOT need a new headunit. Check out / google things like Audio control LC6 or JL clean sweep. Ask a local shop about similar products.
  8. 150 good quality posts are required before you can sell here.
  9. Make it lighter, take the spare tire out of the truck. Take out anything in the trunk just sitting there. Cold air intake & put 93 octance gas in it.
  10. Heres a demo video i put up. These Sony XB-1000s are badass. Powered by a FiiO E9 Amp. Better than beats audio.
  11. Follow the manuals, take your time, and you're doing the right thing seeking out advice.
  12. Specifically about their HD amps & W7 subs. I only rock JL and around the web JL seems to get alot of bad reviews for the wrong reasons. A 1/5 star for price for example. Disregarding price, what do you guys think of JLs W7s & HD amp when it comes down to performance, not price.
  13. OP: No, my custom box is sealed with two 12w7s firing to the rear. The cut out hole where the arm rest is at lets all the air and sound get into the vehicle.
  14. Are you friends with anyone at the local shops? It'd be the best route, cuz buying online you get hit with shipping cost more. Also, those type Rs are popular. I'v heard two of them in a car before, certainly enough to be loud, and impress the average listener on the street. I personally always run JL audio, but that never fits any budget. If you ever can someday, try to hear one of their 12w7s or 13w7s. You wont have to do bandpass, you could just simply do a nice ported box, and either ghetto style just fold down your back seats like they normally do, or just cut out the arm rest. That hole alone will be plenty to let the sound come thru. Im doing that with my car, cutting out the arm rest in the back, & that way the sound can travel thru the car and not get stuck in the trunk. For amps, again, i only use JL. You could either look down the kenwood route, or other similar brands to get some power for that type R, to keep cost low.
  15. Im complelty cutting out the center of the back seats to chamber the bass. Makes it alot louder that way. 700 is a tight budget, but it can be done. If you just want some bass to your music where you will feel it and shake your ride a little bit, find a subwoofer, 12" or 15" at least 500w rms, ported box, amp to match the power, decent wiring, and ur good to go.
