Yeah, I'm subscribed to a bunch of LP'ers on youtube and of course meade and exobigdeal. But aside from adult content, which i think i have seen all of it, i can't find anything decent. It's worse than cable tv and my music library. I have 6000 or so songs and like 400 or so movies and nothing to do. Wish i had some cash so i could do some work on my system.

So I pretty much watch youtube, subscribed to like maybe 30 channels, troll my facebook friends, browse these forums, pop onto msn and yahoo once in a while to read a news article and that's about it, well there is that other thing but we won't discuss that here. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knows any good or entertaining web sites that can provide a distraction for at least 15 minutes. I used to go to stumbleupon but now they make you register and it was always risky clicking those random links anyway.

I can tell you from experience that the 9105d will run 2ohm fine if you don't clip, you start clipping and it will eventually do what you say it is doing. I only have a 65amp alt but i have 1/0 grounds from alt to strut tower and from battery to strut tower, in the rear i have 4ga from strut tower to batter and the amp grounds to rear battery with 4ga, i have 4ga power wire front to back and a 6ga (don't ask) All i can say is i wish i would have bought a better amp, when i get my new alt i will see if keeping volatge above 12.5 ,makes a difference. That is when i have the most trouble. If i stay above that or maybe 13v it will usually keep on going fine.

So I found some really low freq. stuff and discovered i can just move my windshield. You have to really look to see it but it's there. And my camera doesn't show shaking very well so as we all know this stuff looks more impressive in person. Anyway not bad for probably 600 or 700 watts and 2 el-cheapo subs.

Only time I ever used a drill with a tap was actually putting a die in a vice and using the drill to run bolts through the tap just to clean the threads up. You can clean a lot of bolts quickly that way.

So I downloaded some Like Moths to Flames "You Won't Be Missed" I was looking at in Media player and then this came up. I see what looks like at least one square wave but it's the peaks i am concerned about. You guys think that stuff is clipped? Btw, Sorry if the pic is huge on your screen.

Just buy an older model GM style alt, the three wire style with built in regulator. Call Call mechman and then get it in the amperage you want, make a bracket and install it. People have been putting GM alternators on other cars for years.

If you have 800 for bass alone and haven't upgraded your electrical then spend it on a good alt and power cables/terminals/batteries then build. Don't be like me. I spent $600 on two amps 2 sets of components, 2 subs and a head unit. Now i want more and am saving for a $400 alternator, then i have to get 1/0 cables, a better head unit. Then start buying amps and subs. At least i can put all my old stuff in the wifes car. lol

And you may have trouble getting a 40hz detect if you are using bass boost , and sometimes head units have other things besides Bass, Mid, Treble like "loudness" or similar things that can effct the signal.

Well, if you decide to get those anyway you can get them on amazon for about 30 bucks cheaper edit I mean 30 bucks shipped for all four.

Where you using bass boost on one and not the other, did you check to see if they had the same LPF settings, maybe you have the new one crossed over way lower.

I was just wondering, you are sealed off from the truck right? so closing the trunk lid turns it into a fourth order sort of. This is just me being crazy but what if you ported between trunk and cabin, using the trunk as the back half of the box? Probably never work. is it louder with trunk open or closed? Maybe you could find a way to just vent the trunk so there is less air pressure. This is just me letting my brain do it's thing, usually it's never good.
