8 ohms :/ lookin for 4ohms

Was looking at the Crescendo FT-1 and some Selenium Supertweets. Planning on crossing over at 4-5khz. Doesnt have to be those brands just something of decent quality and not over 50 each new. (otherwise i'll just get the Crescendos. Must be 4 ohm as well Let me know what you guys got! Thanks

I swear every person ive talked to and even on here lots of people until now say you cant play lows when tuned that high. . . obvisouly there wrong and i missed something, can someone explain why you can still play low? in which case, why do people tune low then?! sorry for a newb question

Well then my bad, i was completely under the idea the lower tuning and songs and such generally cause more flex, and lower (not like 30hz low but lower than 40hz) gives better SQ. obv i believe you so my bad for false information

youll get more flex from slammin lows js XD tune to 35. its like a common ground. if its not loud enough you need more lol. . . . . tuning that high for loudness and compromising is just eh. dont do it lol your louder at a higher freq most of the time and flex is bad mmmkay fuck flex i dont want it and ill throw you in my civic with 2 15's peaking at 42hz play some 32hz songs and i will bet any amount of money it will sound better and way louder than any of your systems tuned to 30 whateva hz me? lol

Ok here are some picture. the port and sub withh face up, and the port will be in the very back, the sub being closer to the front, and the empty surface area is weher you can put you console thing. cutting the double baffle for the port will be a bitch honestly but thats what you gotta do. and that 1.5" of port going through the baffle was calc into the port length so

ah your right. i did the port before i firuged it was port up lol. if its port forward its 13.75 due to the double baffle. let me fix that

Try this. 32 wide (left ot right in your cab. 16 deep. front to back, and 14 high. up down lol. . . sub and port both face up. with double baffle (so for the port you have to cut into the baffle and also account for the length. anyways, this gives you 14.5 port which is good, and 32hz like u had. and 2cubic ish feet. im not a bx designer. so ask people but if you can fit this try it?

your better off changing the dept to 14, and the width to 32. what car is this going in. what amp. and max dimm.

just know the in the future if you buy another amp, your kinda kimited to 2 ohm amps, because 1 ohm amps are going to be way harder to find a lot of power at 2 ohms ( just sayin)

I was at that one. I compete in the Am 1 class I drive the blue explorer that took 1st Think you told me to flip my box gained 1.9 db's doing it only missed the AM 2( your class) high by .1db lol yeah the was me. and that was my score you barely didnt pass. . . but i found out my box is tuned to 29hz, and is 5.8 net cubes. box build next friday will be 6.5 cubes and 35hz. should make a 1-2 db jump
