i will be putting together a system in my truck this spring and i would like some input ad advice, my plans are to build a system with my income tax money. the system will include 2 DC XL 15s with a cressendo 3500. i have a 200 amp alternator already i have 2 pairs of infitiny kappa components and a kicker zx350.4 to run them. the only thing i really need is batteries and subs and amp, im looking to spend 1500-2000 on the amp annd subs, im kinda set o the dc's. noy sure what amp to gp with but i do like the cresendos. also i will be buying batteries over winter, and saving up to get all the wiring and all that, also i want to run the subs at 1 ohm so i would be getting the 1 ohm vc's.

i want to upgrade my system this spring was wondering on a price for 2 15 xl without shipping just the price of the 2 subs

to all yu guys basically callig me an idiot the box and there website say that the sub is a quad 2 ohm voice coil, it can be ran at .5 ohms 2 ohms and 8 ohms. coil 11 is readig 1.3 on my ddm coil 2 is reading 1.2 coil 3 is readinng 1.3 ad coil 4 is reading 1.3. thats a huge difference from them being 2 ohm, i can understand the beig a little lower or higher by a few pints but these coils are basically 1 ohms which i looked n line and ppeople have said even though there supposed t be 2 ohm voice coils there 1.3 which is very misleading when you look at the web site and they sate that the sub can run at 2 ohms and when i hook it up its reading at 1.4 and my amp is over heating, and i dont have to pay shipping to return it they guy who orders them is giving me aa credit and he is sending it back for me. and the sub wrks fine i just dont want to over heat my amp from the sub when i can get a better sub for the same money that wont be misleading like this one is, and i am listening to what everybbody is saying, but theres always that one person wh has to kill it for other because the deside to be an a@@ hole about everything when people are just looknig fr help not to get isalted by people. but i thank all you who have actually given me advice i realy do appriciate it.

i really dont understand what you guys mean, like will my coils read normal after its broken in or? also my amp gets very hot when i have it one i have everything at half what i nrmally do to break in the sub and my amp still gets hot, iv never had it get hot on me even when i had my RE audio xxx 15 ran off this amp, the only problem i had was my electrical coudnt handle the power draw

so iv been looking online about audiobah and apparently the sub are supposed to be 1.3 ohms, but they say that there quad 2 so im gunna give them a call on monday because they say 2 ohm and if it is actually 1.3 ohs per voice coil im gunnna take it back and get my money back, i appriciate all the help.

so my coils are at 1.3 ohm instead of being at 2 ohms, so shuld i send it back to the company, i have not even hooked it up yet

i tested the leads n my multi meter and it was sitting at0.5 after i zeroed them out so would my coils be like 2.3 in reality or would it be 1.2?

i just got a audiobahn immrtal series 12 (awis12j) i got it delivered to me and i tested the coils and there supposed to be quad 2 ohms but coil 1 2 and 3 are 1.8 and 4 is 1.7 i wired it up trying to get 2 ohms but i get 1.9 and my amp is 2 ohm stable, the sub has not seen power yet will my amp run off it or will it cut out on me? iv got a kicker zx 1500.1 and im doing the big 3 this weekend along with a box built. also i was reading on alpines website and there independance on a 4 ohm dvc is actual 3.8, sorry for the spelling error, please only reply if your gunna hellp me dont insalt me about the audio stuff i have this is just a system for my truck, will do better system when i get a car. thanks

i used a paint ment for plastic on y grill for my truck and all i did ws use 1000 grit sand paper just a light scuff and then put a bunch of layers of paint and so far it has not peeled or anything, i used dulpli color paint and 1 can did good job on my grill

i was wondering the price on xl, on all sizes. and where i can buy one. im from manitoba canada, thanks
