Took my iffy ass kicker bass knob and it's iffy ass cable out and my entire system is louder with bass boost turned all the way down along with gain. The hell?! Voltage drops worse too

Was a contributing factor in a car crash at lunch today.. Leaving the school parking lot and a slugbug, hauling ass in a schoolzone, nearly took my front clip off. Slammed on my breaks right before I left the parking lot, and she flew into someones yard, hopped the curb and hit a small tree midair. Craziest day I've had in awhile!
