    What do you guys use to shim the coil when Reconing...(drop in recone) just need to center it.  I got the gap clean, have the basket back and already got epoxy and goop...just not sure what to use to shim.

      printer paper cut down to aobut 5in long 3in wide pieces. Put equal amounts on the north, south, east and west side of the pole piece to make sure it is 100% centered.

      Yea ok thanks for the help guys.  Will do it tomorrow as Im leaving town for work tonight... I have some manilla folders..and i got the 4 sides concept..hopefuly it all goes smooth.

      Manilla folder until I can't fit any more in there. Then I put printer paper until I can't fit any more of that
