  1. It should work with your factory wires in place. That's how mine is now but I plan to remove all the factory wires soon. Make sure all your connections are good, your grounds are on sanded metal, and make sure your batt terminals are on tight. My truck didn't start once bc I didn't have the negative terminal on all the way.
  2. Ok, I bought a blue stinger volt meter and I have no idea how to install it. I read the directions but I wasn't sure if the power had to be at the batt or amp. Also, the wires are pretty short so if I want to run it at the dash, I'll need to extend them somehow. What I did was just plugged the power, ground and remote directly into my amp along with the regular wires. But it didn't work so I thought maybe I did something wrong. I also don't know how to calibrate the meter. It says to turn the small screw with the top piece off but how do I set it if I don't even know what my current volts are? I'd appreciate any help. Thx!
  3. Mine has a bolt that fits a lug terminal on the negativ eclamp. I think there's a bolt on top of the clamp that you can just screw a terminal on. I currently have both the factory and 0 gauge going to the block on the passenger side. However, I bought a shuriken 80 and will be using RF batt clamps and will remove the factory ground and keep the batt to block zero gauge and add another 0 gauge ground from a bolt on the strut to that same block bolt to complete the big 3. I know of a great forum that shows you a step by step instructions on how to do the big 3 on a new body Tahoe with pics. Pm me and I'll get you the link bc I'm not sure if I can post the link here. BTW, I have a Denali so same basic wiring.
  4. Is this a marine amp? Does it matter if it's going in a truck? I'm not too sure on the compatability or differences between car amps and marine amps.
  5. Here ya go: http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/12-subwoofers/124402-two-havoc-12s.html
  6. That's pretty cool. Some cops can be cool and some can be "that loser kid that got picked on in high school so he wants to get revenge on everybody" type of guy.
  7. That's an awesome deal by my favorite amp manufacturer. Thank you!
  8. There's a guy in CACO selling two Havoc 12s for $400 shipped. They are the older model. He claims he only used them for a few months but had them for a year or two. I'm not sure if you're dead set on 15s but that's not a bad deal. I paid $350 for mine, brand new, and I got quotes from two other places and they wanted $370 + shipping so I was looking at over $400 each. Let me know and I'll direct you to the listing.
  9. I might be interested in the T600.4 if knowledge doesn't buy it. And as soon as I get funds back from another debacle of a deal. I just got the T1500bdcp so that will be perfect for my front stage.
  10. Here's a thread that will tell you everything you need to know about this person. Do not buy anything from him. I wouldn't even sell him anything b/c he'll find a way to screw you. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/141150-kenwood-dnx6980-price-drop/page__st__40__gopid__2023341#entry2023341
  11. That's going to be a nice set up. I have one 12" Havoc and an RF T1500bdcp. Not installed yet but I'm eagerly waiting to put it all in soon.
  12. Nm. I guess you are doing a side port rather than a front port like I designed.
  13. The length of your port is deeper than the depth of the box 22 vs 30. I think your calculation might be off unless I made a mistake.
